Many Zombies maps have become iconic in their own right, from the enormous Moon to the beloved Origins. Now that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is on its way, we’ll have a few more areas to dig into, featuring the return of classic Call of Duty characters. In this guide, we’ll show you all Zombies maps in Black Ops 6 to give you a sneak peek.
What maps will be available in Black Ops 6?
Black Ops 6’s Zombies introduces two new maps: Liberty Falls and Terminus. Both locations will be ready for launch, bringing back classic round-based matches. The COD Next event also confirmed an additional map by the end of this year, so get ready for a new challenge around BO6’s first or second season.
Each map provides Main and Side Quests, generally known as Zombies Easter Eggs, for extra challenges and rewards. If you happen to get lost looking for these secrets, you can wait until the all-new guided mode launches later in the season. Although finding the Easter Eggs this way will take longer, it’ll at least provide tips and tricks to make the experience more manageable, especially for newcomers.
Now that we’ve discussed the upcoming features for both Black Ops 6 Zombies maps, let’s dive into them individually.
Liberty Falls
Liberty Falls is a West Virginian town taken over by a Dark Aether outbreak. If you’ve played other Zombies maps, you’ll be quick to notice its bright appearance, given that most locations typically have a gloomy design.
Despite its illuminated appearance, every step will bring chaos as you take down numerous hordes of zombies. To go against the enemy, use the Aetheralla Trap at Olly’s Comics to ignite them with a life-size action figure. Plenty of other points of interest offer more defenses and rewards, including the bank roof of The Alamo.
Liberty Falls exclusively provides the Thrustodyne Model 23 Wonder Weapon, a fan-favorite from Black Ops 2. Based on Richtofen’s return trailer,ꦛ the Wunderwaffe DG-2 may also be available here, giving you some much-needed firepower.
Terminus
The Terminus map takes us to the Philippine Sea on a remote island set on a U.S. Naval base. I would say this area resembles a classic Zombies map due to its doom and gloom designs. It’s also more enclosed than Liberty Falls since you’ll initially start in prison as one of the playable Operators.
You’ll meet up with characters like Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Dr. Elizabeth Grey, and Maya Aguinaldo. Just like Liberty Falls, they’ll face off against a zombie outbreak using the craftable equipment they discover. In addition to the undead, this dynamic bunch has another target set on Edward Richtofen, who was responsible for their downfall in Black Ops Cold War.
Get the full experience by playing both Liberty Falls and Terminus maps once they launch officially with Black Ops 6. The more you play, the more you’ll earn unique camos for Zombies mode.
