All Custom Gift Envelope event guide in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact’s 2025 Lantern Rite event, Springtime Charms, has officially begun. From January 24 until February 9, 2025, you can get a free four-star character, a new outfit for ❀Xiangling, and create some adorable custom envelopes to share with others.

How to play the Custom Gift Envelope event in Genshin Impact

Before unlocking the Custom Gift Envelope portion of the Springtime Charms event, you’ll need to unlock the following requirements:

• Reach Adventurer Level 20
• Complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
• Start Springtime Charms: First Stanza

As you advance through the beginning of Springtime Charms’ questline, you’ll unlock a new page for Lamplit Entertainment. Here, you can learn more about the event and participate in various minigames to collect rewards, including Custom Gift Envelope.

Once you’re ready to begin the Custom Gift Envelope portion of the event, head to the docks on the northwest side of Liyue Harbor. Here, you’ll see various Lantern Rite stalls set up, with the Custom Gift Envelope portrayed with several ornate masks.

Genshin Impact Custom Gift Envelope event solutions

When Genshin Impact’s Springtime Charms event starts, you’ll have access to two Custom Gift Envelope quests, with more appearing as the event continues. Below is the complete schedule for each Custom Gift Envelope event:

As of January 24, 2025, two Custom Gift Envelope requests are available, with more arriving on January 26. Let’s take a look at these quests.

Custom Gift Envelope No. 1 – Mika

Your first Custom Gift Envelope objective is to help Mika, who wishes to bring an envelope to Klee. Below are Mika’s specifications:

“It’d be great if we could add a bit of color… Hmm, maybe an orange or yellow theme would work well?”

Your goal for this is to add any motif that’s yellow or orange in color. You’ll mostly find these in Artful Motifs, but you can use any you wish as long as it fits these two colors. Add five yellow and orange motifs anywhere on the envelope and submit it to satisfy Mika’s request. After waiting an in-game day, you’ll be ready to start the second Custom Gift Envelope quest.

Custom Gift Envelope No. 2 – Kujou Sara

After waiting a day and returning to the Custom Gift Envelope stall, you’ll find Kujou Sara as your next character to help. Below are Kujou Sara’s specifications:

“Flowers would make a lovely theme, I suspect.”

This time, you’re looking for any flower-related motif to add to the envelope. You’ll mainly find these under Miscellaneous, Curious, and Artful Motifs, but you can use whichever ones you like as long as they’re flowers. Add five flower motifs to the envelope and submit it to complete Kujou Sara’s request.
