Dead by Daylight‘s equivalent of seasons is Tomes. These usually last for a couple of months and feature challenges for players to complete. However, events, such as the Lights Out – Castlevania time-limited mode, also have their own Tomes complete with challenges.
Lights Out – Castlevania is a time-limited event in Dead by Daylight that sees you play with loadouts disabled. This means no Perks, items, or Add-Ons. The Fog is thicker, but Survivor and Killer sounds are harder to hear, and scratch marks and the Terror Radius are suppressed. It’s a much more claustrophobic experience, but the community loves it because it mixes up the rules. This time around, the event Tome has challenges that can earn you some incredibly nostalgic rewards, and chief among them is the Pixel Dark Lord Badge.
