Monster Hunter Wilds is releasing worldwide on February 28ꦉ, and the game will be available in 🐓three different editions for the buyers.
The three editions are available at different price points. Since you can only buy one (I have never tried to get two different editions of the same game), you’ll have to make a choice.
Let’s look at what each edition offers and help you decide which one you should go for.

Which Monster Hunter Wilds edition is worth buying?
While the choice ultimately lies with you, it depends on one question: What type of experience are you looking for? If you’ve barely played any of the previous Monster Hunter titles, it’s best to stick to the base game. It will take time to work out whether the Monster Hunter games are for you. If you end up not liking the genre as a whole, you would have saved a lot of money in the process.
The Premium Deluxe edition will be perfect for the hardcore players who have invested plenty of hours in the older titles. There are a plethora of cosmetic options available for them to decorate their character. Then again, these are all cosmetic items that don’t provide you with an in-game advantage. Some of these bonuses might be made available as standalone purchases in the near future, according to Capcom.
In a nutshell, the Standard Edition is the most money-efficient way of enjoying Monster Hunter Wilds. If you still care about cosmetics, the Premium Deluxe Edition is the one to go for, even if it’s the most expensive option.
