All the new mods added in Warframe: 1999, what they do, and how to get them

Warframe: 1999 is here, and with it has come tons of content. Part of all that new stuff is new mods, 15 to be exact. These mods run the gamut from adding magnetic damage to increasing weak point critical chance and more. But what exactly do th༒ese mods do, and how do you get them?

Mods aren’t the only addition in 1999, there are new arcanes to look at, a new Warframe, and some interesting reworks of Nyx and Trinity, too. But if you’re ready to jump into the building scene and take some new mods out for a spin, here are all the new 1999 mods and where to get them.

Every mod added in Warframe’s 1999 update

In total, there are 15 new mods added with Warframe: 1999. There are aura mods, pistol mods, rifle mods, shotgun mods, a melee mod, an archgun mod, an archmelee mod, and eღven beast claw mods. They do a variety of things, but a lot of these mods work similarly to each other.

There’s a focus on mods that add magnetic damage (much like the radiation mods already in the game) as well as mods that affect weak points and mesh well with Warframe’s new frame, Cyte-09, that was added in the 1999 update. Check out the full list of added mods w🌳ith descriptions:

  • Magnetic Might (Pistol): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Critical Damage
  • Worthy Comradery (Aura): Squad receives +75%, Weak Point Critical Chance.
  • Summoner’s Wrath (Aura): Squad receives +75%, Companion and Summon Damage.
  • Spectral Serration (Rifle): +330% Damage while Invisible.
  • Primary Acuity (Rifle): +350% Weak Point Damage, +350% Weak Point Citrical Chance, Multishot cannot be modified
  • Pistol Acuity (Pistol): +350% Weak Point Damage, +350% Weak Point Critical Chance, Multishot cannot be modified
  • Merciless Gunfight (Pistol): +45% Critical Damage, +1.2 Punch Through
  • Magnetic Capacity (Rifle): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Magazine Capacity
  • Magnetic Welt (Shotgun): Impact Status Effects have 35% chance to apply a Magnetic Status Effect (x2 when Fire Rate is below 2.5)
  • Magnetic Strafe (Shotgun): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Fire Rate
  • Magnetic Rush (Melee): +60% Magnetic Damage, +20% Attack Speed
  • Magnetized Cycle (Archgun): +60% Magnetic Damage, +30% Fire Rate
  • Magnetized Core (Archmelee): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Critical Damage
  • Magnetic Claws (Beast Claws): +60% Magnetic Damage, +40% Status Duration
  • Radon Claws (Beast Claws): +60% Radiation Damage, +80% Critical Damage

Where to get every Warframe: 1999 mod

Of course, you can trade for these mods, and even though they’re new, most of them aren’t particularly expensive, but you can also get them as drops by playing the new update and defeating certain enemies. Here’s that full list of new mods, alongside exactly how you can acquire them:

All of the above enemies are found in 1999 missions in Höllvania. Scaldra enemies can be found in the following missions, which can be accessed directly or by running bounties🌼 from the mall:

  • Lower Vehrvod: Faceoff
  • Vehrvod District: Faceoff
  • Victory Plaza: Assassination
  • Mischta Ramparts: Hell-Scrub
  • Mausoleum East: Exterminate

Much like the Scaldra, Techrot enemies are exclusive to 1999 content. Techrot e𒈔nemies can be found in the following missions, which can be accessed directly or by running bounties from the m🍸all:

  • Köbinn West: Legacyte Harvest
  • Old Konderuk: Hell-Scrub
  • Rhu Manor: Exterminate
