Another Crab’s Treasure in-game QR code hilariously trolls players

It's not a Rick Roll, but it might be worse somehow?

Players who are just finding out about Another Crab’s Treasure, the new underwater Souls-like from Aggro Crab, might not know what they’re getting into. I’m not just talking about the Souls-like experience, I mean how much fun Aggro Crab has making its games. Expect difficult boss battles, but also hilarious bits, like this in-game QR code Easter Egg troll.

Where is the QR code in Another Crab’s Treasure?

You can find the Another Crab’s Treasure QR code on boxes in New Carcinia. It’s located in the Lower Crust area on a cardboard box that reads ‘cubicle’ and has a first-class package shipping label on it. Within the shipping label, which looks like a real one, you’ll find a fully-functioning QR code.

There are actually many cardboard boxes in the area with the QR code printed on the shipping label. However, a lot of them are damaged and scanning it with your mobile device won’t work. Find one with the full, scannable QR code and you’ll get…trolled by the developers. What else did you expect?

Where does the QR code lead?

Scanning the QR code in Another Crab’s Treasure takes you directly to YouTube. Don’t worry, it’s not a Rick Roll or anything, but it somehow feels worse. The link leads to players driving on the ‘Coconut Mall’ track, with a person saying “you just got Coconut Malled, share this with all your friends to totally Coconut Mall them!”

That’s all. We’ve seen a few different screenshots floating around of a number of different boxes in the game and they all seem to go to the same link. So it’s probably not worth scanning every full QR code you can find. Unless you just really like listening to the Coconut Mall music.
