Madden NFL 25‘s gameplay is heavily reliant on the servers if you want to enjoy the online experience, especially the Ultimate Team mode.
While you can enjoy modes like Franchise and Superstar without being connected to the internet, the same isn’t applicable to the rest. In fact, any mode that involves matchmaking with another human opponent relies on connection to the servers. It’s always helpful to be aware about whether the servers are working or not before you sit for a session.
Are Madden NFL 25 servers down
As of this writing, the servers are working just fine, and there hasn’t been any instance of a major chunk of the players facing an outage. This applies to players on both PCs and consoles (including old and current-gen). In fact, I haven’t experienced a server outage since early access began on August 13.
That said, I do expect the servers꧃ to go down, and this can happen due to multiple reasons.
- Server maintenance
- Overloaded by too many players to sign in during the same time
- Platform-based sign-in issues.
Here’s how you can be aware of if the servers are down.
How to check Madden NFL 25 server status
The best way to check the server status is by following the game’s official communication account. Any scheduled maintenance means that the servers will be down for at least a few hours. Usually, EA Sports tweets from when a scheduled maintenance is planned.
If the servers go down unexpectedly, you’ll likely find an update on the same handle. The community on Reddit can be another great go-to option in case you’re unsure about the servers and their status. If there’s no update and the online connectivity isn’t working as intended, it’s more than likely that there are some issues with your internet.
