Every player is capable of taking a??dvantage of the regions nuked by other players but to launch nukes of your own, there are some prerequisites. 

Here’s what needs t?o be done in order to use N??uke Codes to launch nuclear missiles:

1. Complete the Main Quest
2. Become a member of the Enclave faction
3. Complete the Enclave quest, I am Become Death (This acts as a tutorial for the launch process)

   1. Alternatively, having a team member launch a nuke will automatically complete the quest for you.

4. Obtain a Nuclear Keycard - By using the tracking terminal located within the Whitespring Congressional Bunker, you can trigger a repeatable quest to track a cargobot convey which carries a Nuclear Keycard.
5. Travel to any of the three nuclear launch sites: Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie
6. Fight high-level enemy hordes within the launch site. (Prepare for level 50+ robots)
7. Input the weekly Nuke Codes found at the top of this page that correspond to the nuclear launch site you’re at. (Ex. the Alpha code only works for Launch Site Alpha.)
8. Select your target and launch your nuclear missile

Where are the nuclear launch sites in Fallout 76?

There ?are three nuclear ??launch sites in Fallout 76, each located within the Savage Divide region. There aren't many differences between them, but if a player has recently used a site to launch a nuke, the interior will be on lockdown (effectively a cooldown state).

Eta Psi House

The only instanced building in Fraternity Row, the Eta Psi House also contains five board games scattered through the rooms of the residence. There are also rare Nuka-Cola spawns and other valuable junk items in the house, which makes this location a worthy stop if you need to knock ?out many Seasonal Challenges at once.

Putnam Residence

Found in the Lewis and Sons Farming Supply POI, this ??barn house is quick and easy to drop into and speed loot the board games and other junk items. There's also a convenient crafting table inside so you can scrap your inventory and keep your pack light.

Grafton Pawn Shop

Located in the city of Grafton, the pawn shop is an instanced building with an assortment of goodies. While the items aren't as numerous as the other locations in this guide, there are three board games which are enough to fulfill the requirements for the Seasonal Challenge. There's a??lso a Tinker's Workbench which allows you to scrap all of the items collected in the shop.

You can expect to find up to 14 Teapots around the POI, which is over three times?? as many as the other locations in the game.

Helvetia

Helvetia is one of the simpler town layouts in Fallout 76. You can expect to find up to four Teapots within the various buildings of the town. If, for?? some reason, the Palace of the Winding Path is fully looted in every world you jump to, Helvetia is the only alternative location worth traveling to.

Appalachian Antiques

It makes sense that Teapots can be found at an antique store. But compared to the other locations above, traveling to the southern end of the map for two Teapot??s might not be worth the?? fast-travel cost.

Dolly Sods Wilderness

There aren't many reasons to come out to Dolly Sods Wilderness, but there are two Teapots th??at can be found here. One of them is on a shelf in the gift shop behind Scout Leader Treadly, while the other is on top of the stove in the house west of the Ranger Cabin.

The Pleasant Valley Ski Resort is the premier location for finding Composite Skis in Fallout 76. This Composite Ski farming run is simple:

1. Fast travel to the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort and collect Composite Skis that are found on racks outside of each building.
2. Head inside the main resort building and down to the vendor area where Ski Swords can be found.
3. Collect Ski Swords throughout the building since these scrap into Composite Skis.
4. After clearing out the area, leave the main building and head towards Top of the World. Along the path are crafting stations you can use to scrap your junk and manage your carry weight if it's already become an issue.
5. Loot Composite Skis from the many racks found around the Top of the World elevator area.
6. The Mezzanine Floor of Top of the World has a ton of Composite Skis and Ski Swords. Loot every room and rack that you come across.
7. Take the elevator to the Observation Floor and grab the two Composite Skis found next to Rose.

Telephones and Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade at Whitesprings

The Whitesprings Resort is a safe zone inside of the refuge and mall areas. Since it's filled with Telephones, this is safer and easier than the Composite Ski farming run. Although Telephones scrap into one ??unit of Fiberglass as opposed to two, this farming run is much simpler and doesn't requi?re as much running around.

1. Begin at the Whitesprings Refuge fast travel point. Loot all of the Telephones found throughout the vendor rooms and office areas.
2. Check each of the laundry and maintenance rooms (most of them have a sign that says "Employees Only") and loot any Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade that you can find.
3. After clearing the Refuge, move to the Whitesprings Mall section of the building and repeat the process.
4. With the Refuge and Mall cleared, head outside and loot all of the service buildings adjacent to the main Whitesprings Resort building. There are many Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade spawns along with other valuable junk items in these buildings.

Total fiberglass yield: 20

The Whitesprings farming run yields half as much Fiberglass as the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort, but it's free of hostiles, and the building layout is easier to traverse. Either location will provide more than enough Fiberglass to satisfy the Seasonal Challenge requirements. If you're crafting many Fiberglass-heavy C.A.M.P. objects, you can always do both runs in succession to ge?t 61 Fiberglass rather quickly.

You'd have to be a b?rave breakfast connoisseur to sneak into a Deathclaw nest and steal their precious eggs. Luckily for you, we've compiled the best Deathclaw Egg spawns in Fallout 76, and only two of them are found amongst the alpha predators of the wasteland.

The best Deathclaw Egg spawn locations in Fallout 76

Deathclaw Eggs are the rarest egg variety in the game. There's only one guaranteed spawn for these eggs in all of Fallout 76. You can find one Deathclaw Egg in a cup on a shelf in the Vault 63 Atrium security office. To complete the Daily Seasonal Challenges, you'l??l only need to obtain ??a single Deathclaw Egg. So, with this guaranteed spawn, you won't have a reason to re-roll the Deathclaw Egg quest ever again.

There are also a few Deathc??law Eggs around the wasteland that aren't guaranteed spawns. With a 50% chance of spawning the eggs, it'll take some time for you to fill up your inventory to cook a large batch of Deathclaw Egg Omelettes or Deathclaw Wellingtons. Here are the egg spawns that are free of any mother Deathclaws so you don't have to walk on eggshells to acquire them:

• Arktos Pharma - One Deathclaw Egg can spawn in the Protein Sequencer room in the bottom-right corner of a metal shelf.
• Enclave Research Facility - One egg next to a Mirelurk Egg in a display case. The room contains a dead snallygaster on an autopsy table.
• Monorail Elevator - One spawns on the second level's workstation roof on a picnic blanket.

Then for those that are a little daring, there are three more egg spaw?ns with 50% spawn rates inside of Deathclaw nests. If you don't mind sneaking or battling the Deathclaws in t?he vicinity, these locations are ripe for the picking:

• Abandoned Waste Dump - One Deathclaw Egg around the third Deathclaw nest on the left side after descending the ramp.

  • Along with this 50% spawn-rate egg, there are 1-3 eggs that have a 13.3% chance to spawn in the southwest corner of the cave in this POI. Despite the low percentage, it's worth checking out whenever you make your rounds.

• Deathclaw Island - Two Deathclaw Eggs can spawn within the Deathclaw's nest to the left and right of a suitcase.

All Nuka-Grape spawn locations in Fallout 76

The Nuka-Cola flavored beverages tend to share spawn locations. While these spots aren't guaranteed to have Nuka-Grape (or ??any flavored Nuka-Cola) they are worth checking in case you're low on caps or couldn't buy enough Nuka-Grape from the vendors.

• One Nuka-Grape can be found in a locker inside TNT Dome #7 at the Black Mountain Ordnance Works POI.

  • The dome requires a key obtained by a scavenger hunt unlisted quest. A pair of keycards from Kanawha Nuka-Cola plant and Tanagra Town are needed to enter the Overlook Cabin which has the TNT Dome Key #7 inside.

• One can occasionally be found in the Eta Psi House's basement, in the Nuka-Cola room.
• One can be found in a safe at Grafton Steel Underground but requires 2+ hacking skill to unlock it.

Camp McClintock

Camp McClintock has one less Military Ammo Bag than Fort Defiance, but it is just as easy of a location to farm?? Ballistic Fiber.

• After fast traveling to Camp McClintock, turn around and head down the road. 2 MABs can be found next to a soldier's corpse.
• Ground floor of the main building

  • Behind the front desk (1 MAB)
  • In a locker across from the front desk (1 MAB)

• The left barracks - On a shelf on the back wall of the barracks (1 MAB)
• APC - inside of the APC found in front of the barracks (1 MAB)

An epic-tier combat knife with m??ultiple books will beat a low-tier stone sledgehammer any day of the week.

But if finding books and crafting high-tier weapons isn'?t an issue, clubs are by far the best melee weapon to take from the early to late game stages. In both a POI-raiding and horde defense situation, it helps to not have to worry about stamina consumption. With clubs, you'll be able to hop around the environment, knocking down zombies with nearly every swing whilst staying outside of harm's way due to your swift movements.

Steel Clubs are the best of this class with Baseba?ll Bats slightly behind it in terms of damage.

The best armor set for melee weapon builds in 7 Days to Die

So we've decided to use clubs. Now we need to determine which of the new armor sets are the best for our build. I've found that the Biker Medium Armor set is the best option as it provides inc??reased melee damage, reduced stamina u?sage, and movement speed.

Other viable but less optimal armor sets include the Athletic light armor set and the Raider heavy armor set. When it comes to light armor, it's simply not enough for melee weapon builds. Light armor contains mo?re utility options or in the case of the Athletic set, general stat increases. Heavy a??rmor on the other hand makes for a very tanky character, but with minimal damage bonuses.

The best melee weapon attributes and perks in 7 Days to Die

For the best melee weapon build, you'l?l want to focus on the Strength, Agility, an??????????????????????????d Fortitude attributes. Here's what your attribute and perk distribution should look like:

Of course, these are what you should be aiming for to make the best melee weapon build. If you're playing solo, you'll likel??y need crafting or gathering perks to progress comfortably. Since you're investing in Agility, stealth is a viable strategy but will require many more perk points and thus should only be?? considered in later game stages.

The best consumables for melee weapon builds in 7 Days to Die

Melee weapon builds look for two buffs from consumables: Melee weapon damage and stamina recovery. Coffee is one of the easiest to craft stamina drinks and its higher-tier version, Blackstrap Coffee, is a consumable that every build should use. Skull Crushers are the best ca?ndy due to the 50% me??lee damage buff.

The books you'll want to use are:

• All 7 volumes of the Batter Up series since its collector's perk makes power attack kills refill your stamina.
• Art of Mining Volume 4 so that you can craft Blackstrap Coffee.
• Volumes 2, 3, and 4 of Bar Brawling for additional damage and knockdown potential.

How to use the Fire Knight’s Greatsword in Elden Ring

The Fire Knight’s Greatsword comes with the Stamp skill but is commonly replaced with other fire-based Ash of War abilities.?? Some of the most popular are Flame Skewer and Flame Spear. After u??sing either of these Ash of War abilities, the weapon will be engulfed in flames and deal additional fire damage. 

While the Fire Knight’s Greatsword has D scaling in Strength, Dexterity, and Faith, it’s recommended to only have the required Dexterity to use the weapon (18) and then focus on Strength and Faith to scale the Physical and Fire damage, respectively. Where to find the Knight’s Lightning Spear Incantation

The Knight’s Lightning Spear is found in the Scorpion River Catacombs, north of Enir-Ilim and the Church of the Bud. One of the unique features of?? these catacombs are the Death Imp Statues that inflict the Death status when within their line of sight. We’ll use these imp statues as landmarks to make navigating the catacombs easier. 

1. Beginning from the Scorpion River Catacombs Site of Grace, move past the first Death Imp Statue until you reach a large room with spike traps on the ceiling. 
2. Move past the first spike trap. Around the corner to the right, sits a small cubby with a ladder outside the second spike trap's reach.
3. Climb the ladder and note the Death Imp Statue across the room. Sprint across the bridge and use the large statue to break the line of sight. Use consumables or patiently let your Death status bar disappear. 
4. There will be a ledge behind the statue that allows you to move to where the Death Imp Statue is. Run across it and you’ll see a long hallway with two imps guarding an item. This is the Knight’s Lightning Spear Incantation. 

What does the Knight’s Lightning Spear Incantation do?

The Knight’s Lightning Spear is a Dragon Cult Incantation boosted by the Gravel Stone Seal. It can fire up to four additional spears, which follow shortly after the main spear. Just like the normal Lightning Spear, this Incantation inflicts a significant amount of poise damage w?hen all five spears hit.

The FP cost is 29, steep compared to the regular Lightning Spear’s 18. However, after damage and poise ca??lculations, the Kni?ght’s Lightning Spear is the more efficient Incantation as long as at least four of the five spears hit.

With the drastically increased difficulty of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, many players are seeing their Spirit Ashes getting destroyed just as easily as themselves. One of the newest Spirit Ashes of the DLC, Jolan and Anna, ?combine resilience with a surprising amount of power to make themselves a worthy use of gloveworts.

Adding these sisters to your arsenal of summons won't be easy. You'll also need to make a difficult decision between one of Shadow of the Erdtree's most flashy katanas, or getting half of the ashes needed to complete the duo. Here's everything you need to know to get the Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

How to begin Swordhand of Night Jolan's quest in Elden Ring

To begin Jolan's short quest, you'll first need to complete the lengthy Count Ymir questline. If you haven't done so already, check out our comprehensive guide on Count Ymir's questline. Once that is complete, you'll need to talk to Jolan who is slumped over at her pillar in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. She'll mentio??n that she can "no longer see the stars," and then you'll have the opportunity to give her one of two items in exchange for a different reward.

The first item is the Iris of Grace. By giving her this, you'll receive the Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit Ashes. The second item is the Iris of Occultation, which will grant you her signature Sword of Night as a reward. If you choose to get the Sword of Night, I don't blame you. It has an awesome Ash of War and is a suitable prim??ary weapon. But if you've opted for the Spirit Ashes, the fun doesn't stop here. Jolan will pass away, and this will begin her brief quest.

How to find Anna's puppet body in Elden Ring

Remember being invaded by the claw-wielding warrior who looked just like Jolan? It turns out that was he??r twin sister. Though they weren't together during their final moments, their spirits can be reunited in the a??fterlife. Or at least, combined to be summoned by you at will. Here's how you can find Anna's puppet body.

1. Begin at the Hinterland site of grace.
2. Follow the hill slightly southeast until you reach the Shaman Village.
3. Go behind the wicked tree (trust me it stands out) next to the tall building.
4. You should see a large spiky rock, follow the trail behind it until you see a rocky path heading down the cliff.
5. Continue down the cliff, carefully dropping down to the ledges below until you can see a balcony from the top of a church. This is Rabbath's Rise.
6. Carefully drop down to the balcony, double jumping when needed. Make sure to drop and not jump from the cliff since fall damage could kill you.
7. Anna's puppet body is found sitting up in the walkway.

Now that you've found Anna's puppet body, all? that's left is to ?interact with it while Jolan's Spirit Ash is in your inventory. You'll be prompted to combine the two spirits and will receive the Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash.

Is the Jolan and Anna Spirit Ash worth taking to +10?

When it comes to upgrading Spirit Ashes based on their contribution to boss fights, I'd say that Jolan and Anna are a step behind Mimic Tear and Black Knife Tiche. If you've already upgraded those two to +10, Jolan and Anna are an amazing third choice for when you want to switch things up. Having two resilient summons is very useful during many of the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree boss fights where one-shot abilities are more common than the base game. Now if only the DLC bosses didn't have an immediate "anti-summon" attack at the beginning of th??e fight...

Elden Ring is filled with tragic stories often told through questlines of various NPCs found in the Lands Between. Shadow of the Erdtree introduces the mysterious Count Ymir who needs a helping hand wit??h ringing a few bells found at various ruins. His questline has many powerful rewards that make this lengthy journey worthwhile. Here’s everything you need to know about Count Ymir’s questline and its rewards along with a handful of puns thrown in for good measure. 

Where is Count Ymir in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

Count Ymir sits atop the throne in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr found in the Scadu Atlus region. This area is southeast of the Shadow Keep and northeast of Castle Ensis. As with many of the locations in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, getting there isn’t as simple as it looks on t?he map. Here’s how you can get to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

Moorth Ruins to Bonny Village

1. Starting from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace (east of Castle Ensis) look for a tower to the east that has sunken into the ground. There will be a hole that you can jump down next to it. (Refer to the images provided since it’s easy to miss.)
2. The tunnel is fairly straightforward, follow it to the end where you’ll reach a ladder. Use caution as the dogs in these tight corridors can be a hassle to deal with. 
3. Climb up the ladder and you’ll reach the Bonny Village Site of Grace.

4. Cross over to the eastern side of the village and look north for the strange tree with a statue of Marika underneath it. Grab the �?strong>O Mother�?gesture from the statue. 

5. Continue east through the village and cross the bridge leading to a plateau with a single hut on top of it. Grab the Tooth Whip from inside the Whipping Hut if you’d like, then continue across the second bridge to reach the aptly named Bridge Leading to the Village Site of Grace.

6. Follow the path that wraps around to the northwest. Eventually, you’ll reach the Church District Highroad Site of Grace. The road northwest leads to the Church District Entrance Site of Grace. You’ll need to go there later on in the questline. For now, take the road to the south to reach the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. 

Starting the Count Ymir questline in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Enter the cathedral and activate the Site of Grace. Don’t worry, the cathedral is devoid of any hostiles at the moment. Past the Site of Grace, you’ll see Count Ymir sitting atop a throne. Speak with him and exhaust his dialogue to receive a Ruins Map and Hole-Laden Necklace.  

Talk to him once more and he’ll explain that the map leads to a finger ruin and that he wants you to ring the hanging bell that’s there. Give him a chuckle and wave and then move towards the western exit of the cathedral. You’ll find a fearsome NPC named Swordhand of Night Jolan standing against a pillar. She’s Count Ymir’s bodyguard and plays a role later on in the questline, and a short quest of her own afterw??ard. 

Continue through the western ex?it and you’ll reach a small graveyard. There’s an interactable gravestone that can be read. You’ll learn that this is the grave of Yuri, a child taken before his time. Return to Jolan and then Ymir and exhaust the new dialogue options. Now it’s time to delv??e into the first ruins. 

Where to find the first ruins for Count Ymir’s questline

The first set of ruins that you’ll need to go to is called the Finger Ruins of Rhia in the Cerulean Coast region. Check out our Cerulean Coast guide if you haven't discovered this area yet.

1. From the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace, hug the left treeline to avoid the Ghostflame Dragon that patrols the meadow. Make your way to the map fragment and grab it if you haven't already.
2. From the map fragment location, look east and you’ll see a narrow path alongside a ruined building. Follow that path until you reach the shore.
3. Simply follow alongside the shore until you see a giant fallen building that acts as a ramp upward. This leads to the Finger Ruins of Rhia Site of Grace. 

Once here, your objective is seen clearly in the distance. A cocoon-looking object hangs in the middle of a circle of fingers. Believe it or not, these are the bells you need to be ringing. By ringing, I mean performing a kissing animation�?classic Elden Ring. 

But before you dash to your death, you should become familiar with the enemies that you’ll be struggling with at each of the ruins. There are multiple sorcerers which have an extremely long-range spell that stuns you for second??s, even when riding Torrent. When hit, the creatures can teleport to your location and begin to eat you for dinner. Take cover using nearby rocks and structures to avoid getting stun-locked and killed.

Once you’ve reached the bell, sound it and you’ll receive the Crimson Seed Talisman +1. Return to Ymir in the cathedral and he’ll be holding a small hand creature. Tell him about your journey and he’ll give you the Beloved Stardust Talisman and Ruins Map (2nd) as a reward. That’s right, you’ve got another bell t??o smooch.  

Exhaust Ymir’s dialogue about Miquella and then speak to Jolan. She’ll be willing to assist you with fighting Messmer the Impaler now that you’ve earned Ymir’s trust. It’s time to head north from the cathedral and make your way? to the second ruins. 

Where to find the second ruins for Count Ymir’s questline

To reach the second ruins, Finger Ruins of Dheo, you’ll have to access the Scaduview region. The majority of this section takes place in the Specimen Storehouse of the Shadow Keep. There are many twists and turns in this area, so refer to our guide on how to get to Scaduview if you find yourself running in circles.

Shadow Keep, Back Entrance to Hinterland

If you've followed our Scaduview guide, you should be at the Shadow Keep, Back Entrance Site of Grace. At first, only the exit outside which leads to Commander Gaius is accessible. But that isn't where we are headed for this questline. The room to the right of the Site of Grace has a giant statue of Marika. Remember the "O Mother" gesture you picked up at Bonny Village? Stand in front of the statue and use the "O Mother" gesture and the statue will move aside, revealing a secret passage leading to the Hinterland Site of Grace.

Hinterland to Hinterland Bridge and Fingerstone Hill

From here, it’s practically a straight shot to the Finger Ruins of Dheo. You’ll need to slay or evade two Tree Sentinels along the way but you shouldn’t have a problem booking it across the bridge to the Hinterland Bridge Site of Grace. 

Shortly after the bridge, you’ll come across the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace. Just as you did in the Finger Ruins of Rhia, carefully evade the stun spells and ring the second bell. You’ll receive the Cerulean Seed Talisman +1 in your inventory. 

Congratulations, from this point onward there won’t be much more running around to do, but there will be one more bell to interact with. Return to Count Ymir and he’ll give you a Ruins Map (3rd). Rest at the?? Site of Grace, and Ymir will move to Yuri’s grave outside. 

Where to find the third ruins for Count Ymir’s questline

With Ymir off of the throne, you’ll be able to interact with it to reveal a hidden ladder leading below. Prepare for combat, as you’ll be invaded by Swordhand of Night Anna. Defeating her shouldn’t be too difficult. The reach of her claws can be deceiving as they’re much longer than they look. Her Ash of War shoots needles which apply?? moderate bleed buildup, so look out for that attack. I simply baited out her jump attacks and punished them with thrusts and jump attacks of my own. 

After slaying Anna, you’ll receive her Claws of Night. You may be tempted to rush to the third bell but before doing so, head back up to the cathedral and speak with Jolan. Tell her about your encounter with a Swordhand of Night. She’ll tell you she’s indebted to you, but that Count Ymir is her “only star.”�?/p>

After you’ve rested at the Site of Grace to refill your flasks, it’s time to ring the third bell which will send you into a boss room. Your opponent is quite a handful. Mityr, Mother of Fingers is like a twisted version of Master Hand from Super Smash Bros. A finger-trap would do wonders on this boss.

After you turn Mityr into finger food, you’ll receive the Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers�?as if you needed more hands in your pockets.

The final battle with Jolan and Count Ymir

Travel back to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr Site of ?Grace and you’ll be invaded by Swordhand of? Night Jolan. It seems Ymir is disappointed in you and Jolan is keeping her word about handling business for him. 

Just like with Anna, Jolan has a new DLC weapon with an awesome Ash of War. Look out for when she holds her sword out to the side, known as entering a stance. The attack is similar to the bladestorm that Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader does (the assassin that drops the Black Knife Tiche Spirit Ashes). Her weapon is the Sword of Night, which you can acquire shortly after completing thi?s questline. 

Make short work of Jolan and try to conserve your flasks. Immediately after her defeat, Ymir himself will show up to tell you that he’s�?the real mother? If you recall, Ymir mentioned he’s a glintstone sorcerer; that means he’s going to be annoying to?? deal with. He repeatedly teleports around the battlefield doin?g glintstone sorcerer things. By now, you’ve fought more fellas like him than you can count on your hands. 

The only thing to look out for is when you get close and he curls in like he’s charging up an explosion. A circle of fingers spew out from around him dealing hea?vy damage. I suggest using sprinting or jumping heavy attacks to take him ?down since in my experience, he would teleport before I could land a combo. 

After defeating him, you’ll claim the High Priest armor set, the Maternal Staff, and Ymir’s Bell Bearing. Rest at the Site of Grace and then go out to Yuri’s grave. You’ll find the Cherishing Fingers sorcery, the finger explosion spell that Ymir used??.

You might have noticed that Jolan is slumped against the pillar she used to lean against before. There are two different items you can give her to receive either the Sword of Night or her spirit ashes (which begins a questline of its own). Getting to the Cerulean Coast, grace-by-grace

Castle Front to Ellac River Cave

1. Starting from the Castle Front site of grace (Castle Ensis), head south past a Messmer camp and wrap to the left, avoiding a poisonous plant field.
2. Continue to wrap along the wall until facing north. Proceed down the slope, and you’ll reach a marsh with a giant crab and oversized poisonous plant. Run past the plant, and you’ll find a cave entrance.
3. After heading through the cave, you’ll reach the Ellac River Cave site of grace.

The cave leads to the Ellac River and is when you’ll need to utilize your parkour skills. From this point on, the path is fairly linear, but you’ll be required to hop from pillar to pillar until you reach the Ellac River Downstream site of grace. 

Ellac River Downstream to Cerulean Coast

1. Unfortunately, there isn't a coffin to ride down this waterfall. Hop down the cliffside to the right. You should see a Furnace Golem in the distance.
2. Head towards the Furnace Golem and hug the western wall. You should be able to avoid him as long as you stay close to the wall. Torrent should be able to outrun most of his attacks besides the laser. 
3. You’ll reach a clearing that takes you directly to the beautiful Cerulean Coast site of grace. Be mindful of any homing fireballs coming from behind.

You should be able to see the Ghostflame Dragon patrolling the meadow. Hug the left ?treeline to avoid ?him. You’ll eventually move up a hill that contains the Cerulean Coast map fragment.  With the map fragment in hand, you're free to discover the rest of what the Cerulean Coast has to offer.

The Shadow Keep in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is massive. The aptly named keep is filled with secrets and districts that aren't easily accessible. To get beyond the keep to the Scaduview region, players will need to travel through back roads, a flooded district, and take many lifts. While this region is optional, it's required for the Count Ymir questline. Whether you're completing the questline or want to see the entirety of what Shadow of the Erdtree has to offer, here's how to get to Scaduview.

Getting to Scaduview, grace-by-grace

Church District Highroad to Church District Entrance

From the Church District Highroad site of grace, follow the road to the northwest until it changes into a large tunnel. The tunnel leads you directly to the Church District Entrance site of grace. 

Church District Entrance to Specimen Storehouse, Back Section

1. At the Church District Entrance site of grace, you’ll have a view of the flooded district and its rooftops. This area will require some careful jumping so mind your step. After snaking around the rooftops you’ll reach a roof with a hole in it. Drop down onto the structure below.
2. After dropping down through the hole in the floor, you’ll reach a hallway that has two Fire Knights of Messmer and two exits along the left side. The first exit leads to the lever to drain the water of the district. It isn't necessary to drain the water to get to Scaduview but it isn’t a bad idea to knock that out while you’re here. The second exit leads to a lift. Take the lift up to the Specimen Storehouse, Back Section.

1. Climb up the ladder seen from the site of grace. Score an easy backstab on the Fire Knight of Messmer or push him off. You’ll see two rows of bookcases along with another Fire Knight patrolling them. Dispatch the enemy and then make your way through a hole in the wall behind the bookcases. 
2. Ascend the scaffolding outside until you reach the Specimen Storehouse, Loft site of grace. Activate the site of grace and then take the lift beside it.

1. From the lift, you’ll be able to see the exit across from the area. Make your way through the rafters taking extra care not to fall while in combat with the vampire bats. 
2. After reaching the exit, you’ll see yet another lift. Step onto it and hydrate or take a restroom break, it’ll be a minute. At the bottom will be the Shadow Keep, Back Entrance site of grace. 

Shadow Keep, Back Entrance to Hinterland

1. You’ll have two paths to take. The exit outside leads to Commander Gaius who isn’t required to defeat at the moment. The room to the right has a giant statue of Marika. Stand in front of the statue and use the “O Mother�?gesture that can be acquired slightly north of Bonny Village. 
2. The statue will move aside and reveal an exit leading outside to the Hinterland site of grace.

Scaduview might not be the largest region in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, but From Software made sure to pack some sweet rewards in the area. With two new remembrances to acquire and a path to one ???of the strongest spirit ashes of the DLC, it'll be worth your time to thoroughly explore Scaduview.

The Viridian Amber Medallion +3 can be found in the Darklight Catacombs. This location i??s southeast of the Shadow Keep and is accessed through the Castle Watering Hole and following the Recluses�?River. Once you enter, you’ll probably shake your head at the familiar catacomb textures. But worry not, these catacombs aren’t filled with loops and mazes like the others you may have encountered. 

Finding the Viridian Amber Medallion +3 is? simple:

1. From the Darklight Catacombs site of grace, follow the dark path and take a right to head down a short staircase. 
2. Take a peek over the railing ahead of you to get a glimpse of the path you’ll be taking shortly.
3. Turn left and follow the hallway down until you see two lizard enemies to quickly dispatch.
4. Head down the stairs and you’ll see a bigmouth imp (the ones with cannons as their head). Take care with dodging its initial shot and then slay it.
5. Past the bigmouth imp you’ll see a stone railing to the right. This should look familiar if you looked over the railing in step 2. 
6. Carefully jump over the railing to land on the ledge below. Follow this ledge until you reach a broken section with another ledge underneath it.
7. Drop down onto the ledge and you’ll be at the Viridian Amber Medallion +3 chest room.

T??his Viridian Amber Medallion +3 increases your maximum stamina by 17%. Since it’s a percentage increase, it’ll have a profound impact on builds wit??h high endurance.

The Flamedrake Talisman +3 added in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree greatly reduces the fire damage we take. Where to find the Flamedrake Talisman +3 in Elden Ring

The Flamedrake Talisman +3 is found in the Fort of Reprimand which is southeast of Castle Ensis and south of the Shadow Keep. This location can be reached fairly early in Shadow of the Erdtree if you want to make a beeline to the area.

1. Starting from the Moorth Highway, South site of grace (the front of the fort) enter the gate and head down the stairs in the the southern corner of the courtyard. 
2. Follow the hallway and turn left, continuing until you see two soldiers standing in front of a dead body against some cages. 
3. Dispatch the soldiers, climb on top of the cages, and follow the path. You’ll see the chest containing the Flamedrake Talisman +3 at the end of the path.

What does the Flamedrake Talisman +3 do?

The +3 version of the Flamedrake Talisman reduces fire damage taken by 20%. The mobs and bosses are extremely powerful in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Reducing their damage by a percentag?e is much more impactful than in the base game. 

Without spoiling the fight, I used the Flamedrake Talisman +3 to beat Messmer the Impaler and had a much easier time thanks to the reduced fire damage. If there’s one thin?g I’ve learned in this DLC, it’s that defensive talismans are more valuable than ever. But of course, “just don’t get hit�?still applies.

Beast claws are one of the newest weapon classes in Elden Ring Shadow of the Urdtree. If you want to get your claws on one of these new weapons, then the earliest (and one of the most powerful) weapon is the Beast Claw. Here’s how to get and use the Beast Claw in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

Where to find the Beast Claw in Elden Ring

As I mentioned, this weapon is one of the earliest weapons you can find in Shadow of the Erdtree. From the Gravesite Plains site of grace, head southeast into the forest. Refer to the map we’ve provided for the approximate location. Once there, a roaming NPC named �?strong>Logur, the Beast Claw�?can be found and slain. You shouldn’t have too much trouble with Logur, his attacks are ??slow and his health is low�?you’ve got thi?s, Tarnished. 

How to use the Beast Claw in Elden Ring

Don’t be turned off by its generic name. This weapon has an awesome skill known as Savage Claws. The animation is a bit long bu??t it quickly procs hemo??rrhage. The claw has both strength and dexterity scaling but it’s much more suitable for dexterity builds with high stamina. If you’re tired of using katanas for your bleed build and want to try out a new DLC weapon, the Beast Claw is an excellent choice. 

When it comes to the move set, the Beast Claw has some of the fastest combos that I’ve seen in Elden Ring. One of the unique features of the move se??t is how many of the attacks leap or lunge at enemies. You can expect enemies to hemorrhage after landing a full combo, just be careful not to let your savage instinct take over. 

My favorite attacks are the backstep light and heavy attacks. To do this, backstep (dodge without holding a direction) and then press either the light or heavy attack button. You’ll dodge backward and then quickly lunge back into the fray. This is an? excellent attack to use for punishing bosses or sneaking in some bleed buildup between long windup attacks.

There have been many different character creation systems in the Fallout franchise. At its core, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat system and perks make up the structure of our protagonists. Fallout 76 has a unique, endgame-focused system known as legendary perks.

While not as build-defining as regular perks, these perks open up more optio?ns for players by adding additional S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats or providing bonuses based on the player’s weapons or armor. 

How to unlock and upgrade legendary perks in Fallout 76

Unlike regular perk cards, legendary perks require significant investment to unlock and upgrade, so care should be taken when deciding which cards to add to your character. Legendary perks become availabl??e beginning at level 50 and an additi?onal legendary card slot will be unlocked at the following player levels: 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300.

Legendary perk cards can be upgraded four times using perk points and have an increased cost with each upgrade. Unlike ?the regular perk cards, these cards don’t have any S.P.E.C.I.A.L. requirements so there isn’t any ??reason not to fully upgrade them to get their maximum benefits. Here are the costs for upgrading legendary perk cards:

• Level 1: 0 points 
• Level 2: 50 points
• Level 3: 100 points
• Level 4: 150 points

Players should be committed to their build before deciding which legendary perks to invest in. Not only are perk points hard to come by, but changin?g out legendary cards will cost 1 perk point each time. Perk points are required to upgrade each card and at the moment, can only be acquired by:

• Scrapping standard perk cards for 2 perk points per card level. 
• 50 perk points can be chosen as a reward in the final pages of the Season rewards. 

The best legendary perks in Fallout 76

There are currently 26 legendary perks in Fallout 76 each offering a variety of bonuses to players. Every build requires different bonuses so the best perk for one player might not be useful at all to another. This list will be based on what perks are best for the characters that can use them, with extra consideration for the perks that can fit into any possible build. Let’s start with what? perks should be avoided entirely.

• Brawling Chemist
• Electric Absorption
• Exploding Palm
• Funky Duds
• Power Armor Reboot
• Retribution
• Sizzling Style
• Survival Shortcut
• What Rads

Due to the high cost and ?time required to upgrade legendary perks, these cards should be avoided. They either offer redundant bonuses such as generating a chem every 30 minutes, or their bonuses pale in comparison to regular perk cards. Nine times out of 10, it’s much better to simply pick a legendary S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk card instead of any of these. 

15. Power Sprinter

This perk only affects those who are using Power Armor, but it’s very useful for PA builds since many builds in the game utilize V.A.T.S. Keeping your Action Points topped up while still being able to dash around the?? battlefield will enhance both your offensive and defensive capabilities. 

14. Master Infiltrator

While there aren’t any combat benefits with this perk, it’s one of the best quality-of-life perks in Fallout 76. It isn’t recommended to invest in this as your first legendary perk, but it’s a convenient addi??tion to any build.&n??bsp;

13. Taking One for the Team

It’s easier than ever to join a team to meet the requirements for this perk. You can either team up with an alt, join somebody’s public team, or create a?? public team of your own. If you create a public team, you’ll be considered a member of a team for this bonus�?even if nobody joins up.

12. Legendary Endurance

Of all of the legendary S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks, Endurance is the least beneficial to boost. Many of the Endurance perks provide mundane benefits and those that are decent tend to s??uffer from diminishing returns. ??Most builds will find more benefits from any of the other S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks.

11. Legendary Charisma

Most builds consider Charisma to be a “du??mp stat�?and keep it low so that they have more points for other stats. Charisma perks simply aren’t as impactful as those of the other stats. But there are a few perks that can be fit into all builds such as Tenderizer, Lone Wanderer, or Inspirational that justify this ca??rd. 

10.  Legendary Strength

The weapon-specific perks (such as big guns, shotguns, or melee) found in Strength can usually be taken by their respective builds without the need for additional points. But for those who want to take advantage of the quality of life cards such as Strong Back or the perks that reduce the weight of various item types, this card isn’t a bad option. Strength is also an excellent stat on its own since high carry weight is essential in Fallout 76.

9. Hack and Slash

Melee builds don’t get a lot of love, but this perk is by far one of the most impactful for melee characters. Triggering a VATS critical along with this perk will quickly clear most packs of ??enemies i??n the game. 

8. Collateral Damage/Far-Flung Fireworks

These perks are essentially the same effect but for melee and ranged builds respectively. The explosion effect is a welcome bonus to damage during high-volume events. The 20% chance is dece??iving, sinc?e in combat it feels more like 40% with how consistent it triggers. 

7. Detonation Contagion

While this perk looks very similar to the two above, there’s a reason it is ranked higher. Grenades receive the benefit of most legendary modifiers from your equipped weapon. Because of this, a common speed-farming method is to equip a bloodied or instigating weapon and then toss Nuka grenades to decimate entire? instances of enemies. With Detonation Contag?ion, those grenades cause chain explosions and drastically reduce the farming time in these strategies. 

6. Ammo Factory

Another non-combat perk, Ammo Factory offers a significant bonus to ammo crafting. In the endgame when players transition to ultracite ammo, making more ammo from fewer resources is one of the top quality-of-life bonuses in the game. It’s worth noting that t?his perk stacks multiplicatively with Ammosmith to provide a 450% bonus at max ranks??. 

5. Legendary Perception

Perception is home to the rifle perk cards which are the most popular builds in Fallout 76. For those builds, an extra five perk points can make a big difference. The only thing ??holding back this legendary perk card is how perception doesn’t offer much to o??ther types of builds. Concentrated Fire and Grenadier are the only notable perception perks for other builds and can be picked up without investing in this legendary perk. 

4. Legendary Luck

Luck is one of the best stats in the game for any build. The stat alone increases the condi?tion of items found along with increasing the critical gain for each att??ack in VATS. Regardless of the weapon used, any build benefits from the VATS, sneak, and critical effects found in the Luck perk cards. It also contains the best universal damage bonus, Bloody Mess. 

3. Follow Through

One of the highest damage increases in Fallout 76, Follow Through is a?? must for any ranged build. Even if you’re not running a sneak build, most ?fights can begin from stealth and end within 10 seconds. 

2. Legendary Agility

Agility is one of the top S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats for many reasons. It contains stap?le perks for nearly every build in the game. Gun Fu, Dodgy, and Covert Operative have their place in every meta build. The Agility stat itself also increases the number of Action Points available, making it the mo??st versatile stat in the game.

1. Legendary Intelligence

Power armor and energy weapon users will find most of their respective perks in the Intelligence category. But that’s not why Legendary Intelligence is the number one on this list. The Intelligence stat increases the amount of experience gained from all sources by 2.072% per point. By utilizing buffs and specialized equipment, players can reach over 81 Intelligence, gaining a 167.832% increased expe??rience gain. 

Increased experience is an underrated? benefit. Leveling up grants you perk cards which as we mentioned before, can be scrapped for perk points. Gaining experience is also the easiest way to i?ncrease your Season Pass level. This means that even after you’ve max-ranked every legendary perk card available, you’ll still reap rewards from gaining experience. ;

That’s why Legendary Intelligence is not only the best legendary perk card, but is als??o a recommended first choice. Slot it in, rank it up, and you’ll unlock the subsequent legendary card slots much faster than you would have otherwise.

Billings Homestead is by ?far the best location for farming Razorgrain. With over 50 Razorgrain spawns, you shouldn’t have any trouble gathering enough to start brewing a batch of whatever you desire. 

How to grow Razorgrain in Fallout 76 

Like with many other crops in the Appalachian wasteland, Razorgrain can be combined with one unit of fertilizer at your C.A.M.P. to create a plantable Razorgrain sapling. Crops grown at your C.A.M.P. produce a food item every five minutes. With enough planted crops, your farm could become more efficient than Billings Homestead since C.A.M.P. crops are exempt from the 250-item harvest cap in Fallout 76.

Star Wars: Unlimited's second set, Shadows of the Galaxy, takes players to the underbelly of worlds filled with smugglers, bounty hunters, and those who take matters into their own hands. Shadows of the Galaxy brings many fan-favorite characters into the mix from series such as The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, and The Book of Boba Fett. Players will be able to start buying and cracking open booster boxes or packs on July 12, 2024, when the set is released worldwide.

The new mechanics of Shadows of the Galaxy

This set is filled with galactic criminals so it's only appropriate that new mechanics are introduced to fit the theme. Three new mechanics are being added with Shadows of the Galaxy that will certainly spice up the meta. Units can be Captured, guarded, and rescued by other units, Bounties can be applied to units and claimed by opponents, and characters can Smuggle resources into play.

Bounty

The Bounty mechanic adds various effects to units that trigger whenever the unit is defeated. Bounties can be attached to units via upgrade cards or can be found as an inherent ability with some units. Many bounty hunter characters gain bonuses when attacking units that actively have a bounty??, making this a powerful mechanic to play around with.

Capture/Guard/Rescue

Three mechanics in one, capturing goes hand-in-hand with the new Bounty system in Star Wars: Unlimited. Using certain abilities or action cards, units can be captured an?d guarded by another unit. When the guard unit is defeated, the captured unit is Rescued or set free. Various actions allow rescuing units without needing to defeat the guard units.

Smuggle

Cards with Smuggle can be used as a resource and then played for their Smuggle cost later on. This allows high-cost?? cards to be put to use generating resources early on while still being able to be played later in the game once players can afford them. While it's a simple mechanic on the surface, many synergie??s and triggers work with Smuggle to make it a competitive theme to build around.

10. Razor Crest - Reliable Gunship

The new Mandalorian units of Shadows of the Galaxy have many bonuses that activate when attaching upgrades to them. Since the Razor Crest can return discarded upgrades to your hand, it'll certainly become a staple card in Mandalorian or Upgrade-heavy ??decks.

9. Wrecker - BOOM!

Overwhelm is a powerful keyword on its own, especially on un?its with high power such as Wrecker. 5 damage from a low-cost ability is super valuable and can help create board advantage against some of the more ??bulky units in the game.

8. Unexpected Escape

With the new Capture mechanic, this card will be a necessary inclusion in any deck. Even if it only rescued the captured unit, it would ??be worth it. However, being able to ex?haust the guarding unit adds tremendous value for a 1-cost card.

7. Ruthlessness

Base damage is how you win a Star Wars: Unlimited game. Within Spark of the Rebellion, Sabine Wren and decks revolving around base damage have dominated the competitive scene. Ruthlessness will find its home in these top?-performing decks and extend its viability into future sets.

6. Maul - Shadow Collective Visionary

Maul is loaded with aggressive and defensive abilities alike. Ambush and Overwhelm with 7 power make him a threat that ca??n close out gam??es on his own. His ability to redirect damage to other friendly Underworld units makes him one of the hardest-to-kill units in the TCG.

5. Crosshair - Following Orders

Shadows of the Galaxy brings additional methods of boosting unit power to the game. With three different unit traits, experience counters, upgrades, and his inherent action, Crosshair's power can easily be increased. H??is exhaust action can quickly become a unit-deleter, and his 6 ?HP gives him a fair bit of staying power.

4. Choose Sides

Swapping control of units has the potential to be the most broken ability in any TCG. Besides simply swapping a weak unit for a stronger one, players can trade units with bounties to their opponent so that they can claim the bounties for themselves.? This card is one to revisit with every new set release, as the potential is limitless.

3. Ma Klounkee

Bounce effects are one of the strongest mechanics in any TCG. Ma Klounkee not only enables the bouncing of Underworld units but has a built-in burn. For 1-cost, having two effects of an?y kind is extremely valuable. This card effectively duplicates the effects of Underworld units that have triggers when entering play.

2. Dryden Vos - Offering No Escape

With 7 HP and the Shielded keyword, Dryden Vos is tough to kill. Although his stats aren't too impress?ive for a 7-cost unit, his ability that allows him to take control of a captured card for free can drastically change the board state. Along with other cards with similar effects, such as Choose Sides, stealing your opponent's cards can become a viable strategy.

1. Jango Fett - Renowned Bounty Hunter

Jango is one of the best units to take advantage of the new Bounty system. Within a deck filled with Bounty upgrades, Jango will have a high uptime for his +3/+0 Overwhelm ability. His card draw effect rounds out his kit and allows him to create both a card and board a??dvantage for players.

Ravensburger hosted their second Disney Lorcana Lorecast Twitch stream on June 12, 2024, and despite having some technical issues, it was well worth the wait. Viewers were immediately introduced to the name of the fifth set of the TCG: Shimmering Skies. Since?? a VOD of the stream wasn’t saved, we’ll provide a thorough recap of everything ?revealed for the new Shimmering Skies set.

For those unfamiliar with Lorecast, Ravensbur?ger held their inaugural Lorecast back in March to reveal Ursula’s Return. The stream treats viewers to a well-crafted cinematic that introduces the theme, and notable characters of the upcoming set, and then showcases many exciting card and product reveals. 

From this point forward, there will be many spoilers for the Shimmering Skies set. While most of these are from the official reveal, there will be some cards added that were found within the media kit and? from snooping through the official website. 

Disney Lorcana Shimmering Skies product reveals

According to the Lorecast stream, Ravensburger is sticking to the Illumineer’s Trove, booster box, and of course booster packs when it comes to card packs. The gift set seen in sets before Ursula’s Return seems to have been officially retired from the product lineup. Shimmering Skies products will be released in local game stores on August 9th, 2024, and all major retailers on August 23, 2024.

While there hasn’t been an Illumineer’s Quest announced for Shimmering Skies yet, it’s likely that due to its popularity, Ravensburger will revisit this game format in the future. In fact, the team play??ed (and lost) a game against Ursula in the latter half of the Lorecast strea??m. Each of the members spoke highly about the game mode and had a blast despite losing. 

Shimmering Skies franchises and a new card type

Along with returning franchises such as Frozen, Lion King, and Emperor's New Groove, the Wreck-It Ralph franchise seems to be one of the primary focuses of the Lorcana Shimmering Skies set. An entirely new card type known as "racers" was revealed that comes from the Wreck-It Ralph universe. So far, racers are exclusively found in the Ruby ink type. Judging by the card reveals, racers will be a high-speed cast of characters that have the Rush ?keyword?? ability along with other effects that trigger upon entering play.

Shimmering Skies starter decks

Two exciting new starter decks were briefly teased during the official Lorcana stream. The first is an Amethyst/Ruby deck with Elsa and Wreck-It Ralph as the faces of the deck. They didn’t give any details on the deck strategy but based on our knowledge of the ink types and their synergies, t??his deck could be an aggro-control deck utilizing the bounce mechanics of Amethyst and the aggression of Ruby. 

The second starter deck has Scar and Kronk leading a cast of Emerald/Steel characters. We know how Emerald and Steel are a common synergy found in competitive Disney Lorcana play, so it won’t be a surpr?ise if this becomes one of the best starter decks after its release.

Most trading card games (TCGs) struggle with defining the identities of their colors or card types within their early years. Disney Lorcana is still a toddler compared to the rest of the TCG genre, yet it has done a fantastic job at giving each of its ink types a distinct identity. Each of the six ink types have keyword abilities, themes and strategies that make them worthy of seeing play i?n both casual and competitiv??e environments.

Inks in Lorcana can be compared to mana colors from Magic: The Gathering or the various elements from Pokémon. The six different types of inks are: 

• Amber
• Amethyst
• Emerald
• Ruby
• Sapphire
• Steel

Why are ink types important in Disney Lorcana?

The Illumineers (players) use ink to play cards such as locations, items, or glimmers (characters). The type of ink that a card belongs to roughly determines what abilities or overall strategy it relates to. One of the best examples of this is the Ruby ink and how ?its cards, such as Maui—Hero to All, have keyword abilities such as Reckless or Rush, which enable the aggressive nature of the ink.

Lorcana decks can consist of up to two different ink types. This means if a deck is built with Ruby and Amethyst cards, it cannot contain cards from Emerald or the other ink types. Ideally, decks are built with ink pairs that complement each other which the official Disney Lorcana Starter Decks do wonderfully.

Amber

The Amber ink type is considered the most supportive ink in Lorcana. Players can find Bodyguards, healing abilities, and many synerg?ies that aren't found in other ink types. Amber glimmers sport high willpower but has rather insignificant strength stats.

This ink makes great use of the Bounce effects produced from the Amethyst ink or utilizes the high-cost Steel characters to sing some of the most impactful Songs in the game.

Amethyst

Characters from the Amethyst ink type have some of the most powerful abilities in the TCG. The strength of this ink type is heavily attribut??ed to the abilities that each card has and thus, doesn't have the best stats. Despite this, Ameth?yst has one of the most competitive mechanics in the game, known as the "Bounce" effect. This effect allows cards to be returned from play to the owner's hand, which synergizes well with abilities that trigger after entering or exiting play.

Amethyst is found in many top-placing decks in Lorcana tournaments and is often paired with Amber or Ruby ink to create a Bounce Control deck archetype.

Emerald

Players seeking interaction cards (ways to affect the opponent's board or hand) can find what they need in the Emerald ink type. This ink is perfect for those looking to have a reactionary playstyle. Emerald contains many clever forms of card removal and discard effects which can stop your opponents i??n th??eir tracks.

Emerald is a somewhat underutilized ink in competitive play, but that's not to say that it is underpowered. In tournament play, Emerald is found paired with Steel; Slowing down the opponent with pesky discard effects so that they aren't prepared to answer the might of Steel's toughest ch??aracters.

Ruby

Lorcana honors the tabletop/TCG tradition of making red a representative of all things aggro. The Ruby ink type is the most aggressive of them all. Characters of the Ruby ink have abilities that enable them to take action immediately after entering play and have many ways to create a board advantage over the opponent. Ruby's strategy is simple which m??akes it an excellent ink for beginner players to learn the game with.

Ruby isn't only for newer players, though. This ink is frequently found in the top 4 of tournaments and is one-half of the most popular deck archetype: Bounce Control. This archetype utilizes the bounce mechanic of Amethyst to trigger the aggressive abilities of Ruby cards over and over again. Ruby is also paired with Sapphire to create the fun Pawpsicles archetype.

Sapphire

If Sapphire ink were a class, it would be the wizard. Sapphire contains a wide variety of spells and abilities that enable many strategies found in Lorcana. Some cards grant Ward, which protects allies from the opponent's abilities, along with the greatest sources of card drawing abilities of all of the ink types. Players familiar with other TCGs would be pleased to know that Sapphire is considered the best Ramp ink. In Lorcana,? ramping means filling your inkwell quickly so that you have the reso??urces to play higher-cost cards before you normally would.

Sapphire's card draw??ing and ramping characteristics make it the perfect supporting ink for the powerful characters found in the Ruby and Steel ink types.

Steel

The Steel ink type is by far the most defensive ink in Lorcana. This ink opts for raw stats over fancy abilities and effects. Steel characters boast the highest strength and willpower stats of Lorcana, and they don't stop there. Many of these characters have the Challenger keyword ability which further boosts their stats whenever ?they are challenging another character.

The Steel ink's simplistic, brute-force nature requires suffi??cient support to get the ball rolling. This is why Steel's favorite pairings are Emerald and Sapphire since they can either stall the opponent ??or generate enough resources to play the expensive Steel characters.

As with any trading card game, Disney Lorcana has multiple rarities of cards that influence market prices. ??This impacts both players and collectors alike. But unlike its siblings within the genre, Lorcana treats its rarest cards much dif?ferently. 

In other games, such as Magic: The Gathering, high prices prevent less fortunate players from being able to use the strongest cards found in the game. Lorcana’s rarest cards are known as Enchanted cards and are higher-quality prints of existing cards found within each set. This allows collectors and pack openers to hav??e beautiful, high-value cards to chase after while enabling players to be able to utilize the more practical, albeit less rare versio??ns of the same card.

An example of this would be Aladdin - Heroic Outlaw. His Enchante??d version is valued (at the time of ?writing) between $120-160, while his regular version can be purchased for a quarter ($0.25). The cards are functionally the same, but the Enchanted version has full, borderless card art and is given the holofoil treatment.

The Enchanted ca??rd system sets Lorcana apart from other TCGs and brings down the overall cost??s needed to build a competitive deck, something that older games have struggled with for years.

Some of the most menacing enemies in Fallout games are small critters scaled up to human-sized proportions. A disturbing example of this are the Gulpers of Fallout 76 who were once cute salamanders until the Great War mutated them into six-foot-tall predators of the Wasteland. Flies and other insects aren’t enough to sate their appetite anymore so Gulpers have adapted to ambushing players around the Mi??re and Cranberry Bog. 

If you’re looking to defeat Gulpers for Seasonal Challenges or harvest their meat to make delicious pepperoni rolls, you’ll want to know all of the locations Gulpers are found within Fallout 76.

The Gulper Lagoon is named appropriately. Whether it’s for challenges or for making pepperoni r?olls, this POI ??is the best Gulper farming location. With 4 guaranteed spawns, it’s perfect for players who don’t mind world-hopping to reset the spawns. 

While not guaranteed to be available at all times, the Moonshine Jamboree event found at Sunday Brothers�?Cabin contains the highest volume of Gulpers in all of Fallout 76.?? Whenever this event is active, make sure to prioritize this over the Gulper Lagoon since it is a much more efficient far??ming method. ;

As with most enemies that players can encounter across Appalachia, Gulpers have many variants. At higher levels, Gulpers become much more durable and have different damage types depending on their variant type. Here are all of the different Gulper variants found in Fallout 76.

The swamps of Fallout 76 are filled with enemies who are keen to spread their diseases and other status effects to unprepared players. Of all of the daily quests that players can acquire in Fallout 76, hacking a terminal is the most loathed of them all. The hacking minigame isn’t as exciting as exterminating pests or hunti?ng down creatures for their materials. Plus, perks are required to attempt to hack most of the terminals found in the game. 

But hacking terminals doesn’t have to be so tedious. Unlike slaying creatures, players don’t have?? to worry about spawns or interference from othe?rs. Terminals are found in fixed locations and are always the same level, so besides the minigame itself, they can be the most straightforward daily quest to complete. 

How to hack terminals in Fallout 76 

There are four levels of terminals found across Appalachia that range from zero to three. Level zero terminals can be hacked by any player since they don’t require any perks. Terminal levels one through three require havin??g the Hacker, Expert Hacker, and Ma??ster Hacker perk cards respectively in order to hack them. 

Different levels of terminals will p??rovide varying rewards and any level terminal will fulfill most quest or achievement requirements (bes?ides Tadpole challenges which mention particular levels).

While the scr?een filled with characters might be intimidating at first, hacking terminals is fairly simple. 

• You begin with four attempts to guess the correct password.

  • The level of the terminal determines the number of possible passwords shown along with the number of characters.

• When selecting a password, keep track of the “Likeness�?rating given to each password you’ve chosen. Use the process of elimination to avoid any words that don’t have the same number of matching characters.
• Try to select a word that has similar characters to other options in the terminal. This would make it easier to narrow down which characters are correct.
• Selecting clusters of symbols that are enclosed by �?)�? “{}�? “[]�? or �?lt;>�?will grant either additional attempts or will remove any false passwords from the terminal. (Example shown below)

Hacking terminals in Fallout 76 is much more forgiving than in the other Fallout games. In previous installments, failing the minigame would lock the player out of the terminal for the rest of the game. In Fallout 76, the terminal will eject the player after a failu??re and then allow them to try again aft?er a few seconds.

There are many more terminals found within Fallout 76, most of which require key items, quest completions, or reputation levels to access them. Disney Lorcana is an excellent TCG for veterans of the genre to introduce their friends a??nd family members into the hobby. With an IP that is familiar to people of all ages, beginners can focus on learning basic TCG mechanics and spend less time figuring out how to pronounce an ancient demon warlord’s middle name. 

Your first Lorcana purchase typically comes down to two options. Purchasing a starter deck allows you to jump into a game with a predetermined strategy and decklist. But if the starter decks available don’t resonate with you, you can buy a booster box and immediately have access to a large collection to b?uild your own deck with. This guide will focus on booster boxes and tell? you everything you need to know about this product. 

What's in a Disney Lorcana booster box?

Each Disney Lorcana booster box contains 24 booster packs. Since each booster pack is filled with 12 car??ds, that amounts to 288 cards in each booster box. 

So far, every Lorcana set has introduced a little over 200 cards. This means that after rarities are taken into account, a booster box will likely contain over half of the entire set’s collection. If you’re lucky, you may even pull an Enchanted card, the rarest and most valuable type of card in Lorcana.

Booster Box vs. Booster Pack value

Booster boxes are an excellent way to jumpstart your collection. Regardless of the set, booster boxes are always priced in a way that they are cheaper than buying 24 booster packs outright. Boxes sit comfortably around $117 on TCG Market and Retail, while booster packs are found slightly under $6 each. Buying a booster box instead of 24 individual booster packs could save you over $20. Cracking open packs is one of the most fun aspects? of TCGs, and doing so at a slight discount makes ?it even better.
