What is the plot of Avengers: Doomsday?

The official plot details for Avengers: Doomsday are mostly unknown so far, but the main central storyline will involve the latest wave of Avengers gathering together once again to stop some mighty evil force. Based on the name of the film and the grand reveal of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, the plot is expe꧅cted to be centered around him as the primary antagonist.

The build up for this film is expected to begin in The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie launching on July 25, 2025 since Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four are tied together in the Marvel Comics.
