Bomb first, ask questions later
There are so many possible fusion combinations in Tears of the Kingdom that it is near impossible to imagine them all. Fortunately, you don’t have to experiment with every single combination because there are some tried and tested fusions that you can stick to.
One of the most powerful items to fuse to an arrow is the Bomb Flower, which has an explosive effect on enemies. There are a few places that are perfect for Bomb Flower farming in Tears of the Kingdom.
Best Places for Farming Bomb Flowers in Tears of the Kingdom
Bomb Flowers can be purchased using different forms of currency. If you don’t want to trade, you can also visit a few reliable spots to forage for this useful plant.
Offer Poes to Bargainer Statues
Bargainer Statues are large, stone structures that want poes from Link. Poes can be collected in the Depths, and they look like little blue flames. In exchange, the Bargainer Statues have several items on sale, and the ♉menu is expanded as more Bargaine✃r Statues are found.
Each Bomb Flower costs 16 poes. Thanks to how ꧃numerous the poes are, this is perhaps the quickest way to get several Bomb Flowers fast.
Buy Bomb Flowers with Rupees
If you have the Rupees to spare, Bomb Flowers can also be purchased. Over in Tarry Town, they can be bought for 40 Rupees apiece.
If the Gerudo Town🐻 Regional Phenomena has been resolved, they can also be purchased from Gerudo Town for the same pr🌠ice.
Collect Bomb Flowers in Caves
Caves and underground tunnels can reliably be farmed for Bomb Flowers, though some locations have better loot than others. If you’re going for the caving method, consider these three spots:
- The Royal Hidden Passage can be found in the underground bunker at Lookout Landing. Explore the winding tunnels, and you’re bound to find plenty of Bomb Flowers. There are monsters in there, including Like Likes and Keese, so bring weapons.
- The Bottomless Cave on the Great Sky Island is also a good place to hit up. It is on the east side of the island, and the coordinates are: 0748, -1441, 1485. Once again, there are monsters, but there are also mineral deposits and treasure chests to tempt explorers.
- In the Gerudo Desert, there is a cave that holds the Gerudo Great Skeleton. The entrance to the cave can be found at the following coordinates: -4808, -3879, 0003. It is a huge cave with plenty of Bomb Flowers, Brightcaps, and Brightbloom Seeds.
Venture Into the Depths for Bomb Flowers
Lastly, Bomb Flowers can also be obtained by diving into the Depths. Traveling in any direction will almost always lead Link to some Bomb Flowers. Throw on your Tunic of the Depths outfit and start your search at these spots:
- Hyrule Field Chasm is probably the easiest spot. It lies south of Lookout Landing, and it is impossible to miss. At the roots of the trees below, there are plenty of Bomb Flowers and Muddle Buds.
- The Grove of Time is rich with Bomb Flowers. It lies west of the Nuzimak Lightroot, at the following coordinates: -449, -1460, -0476. Check the tree bases for Puffshrooms, Bomb Flowers, and Muddle Buds. Be careful, because there are also Evermeans here.
Fusing Bomb Flowers onto arrows is a quick way to drastically turn the tide of any battle. The flowers have a large area of effect, allowing Link to hurt multiple enemies at a time. They’re also useful for tougher enemies like Lynels and Hinoxes.
