Playstyles

Collei is an off-field DPS/support unit. She can be played in Dendro teams as a source of damage and Dendro application. In this role, she will use her Skill, then Burst, then swap to teammates.

Collei’s Skill throws a boomerang that flies around in a wide arc and returns to her. It deals damage to any enemy it hits, up to twice per enemy. Unfortunately, due to its weird trajectory and targeting, the boomerang sometimes misses enemies altogether.

Her Burst throws a doll at the♏ enemy, which creates a small field that deals multiple additional instances of Dendro damage. This thro💟w has the same auto-targeting and high trajectory as Diona’s Burst, meaning the doll often misses enemies that are flying or otherwise moving.

As unreliabꦗle as her targeting mechanics are, Collei can still apply Dendro in 🍸a small AoE around herself through her Ascension 1 Passive and Constellation 2 effect.

Weapons

Elegy for the End
Elegy may not be the best for Collei’s persona♋l damage, but it’s generally the best option for overall team damage. Its Energy Recharge secondary stat 🥃is useful, and it allows her to buff her team when her Skill and Burst hit enemies.

Other 5-star Bows / The Stringless
Th🥀ese are the options for Collei’s personal damage. A high-refinement Stringless is the most accessible weapon, but if you happen to have Polar Star or Aqua Simulacra, those will work great. Other 5-star DPS Bows can also work as stat sticks.

Sacrificial Bow
At high refinements, this Bow gives Collei a second Skill cast, increasing her Dendro appli🦩cation. The Energy Recharge secondary st💜at helps with her Burst uptime too.

Favonius Warbow
Since Collei’s personal damage tends to be pretty low, you might want to just put her on Favonius duty instead. This Bow t𒊎akes care of Collei’s own Energy Recharge needs and allows her to generate 🌠Energy for her teammates too.

Artifacts

4pc Deepwood Memories (4DWM)
As a Dendro character, Collei makes for a good 4DWM holder, reducing enemy Dendro RES when her Skill aꦚnd Burst deal damage.

4pc Noblesse Oblige (4NO) / 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith (4TotM)
If you don’t need 4DWM, you can try one of these sets instead to grant a team-wide ATK 🥂buff. The periodic damage from Collei’s Ascension 4 Passive counts as Skill damage, allowing her to🐼 maintain decent uptime on 4TotM’s buff.

Artifact Stats

SandsGobletCirclet
ATK
Elemental Mastery
Energy Recharge
Dendro DMGCRIT Rate/DMG

With Favonius or Sacrificial Bow (or another Dendro teammate) Collei will generally need around 170-180% Energy Re🌌charge. If she is the sole Dendro character on your team with no other means of Energy generation, she can need upwards of 200% Energy Recharge.

Once Energy needs are met, build Collei with CRIT, ATK, and Elemental Mastery. Elemental Mastery tends to be better if she triggers reactions, but she🃏 won’t always be the trigger in her teams. ATK is the safer, more flexible choice.

Teams

Quicken

Collei’s Dendro application may not be the best, but it’s decent enough to maintain Quicken uptime. Pair her 🤪an Electro unit and another Dendro unit for best results. For your last te🐠am slot, bring either an Anemo unit to help with crowd control or someone with defensive utility. Some example teams include:

  • Collei – Nahida/Alhaitham/Tighnari – Fischl/Yae Miko – flex
  • Collei – Cyno/Yae Miko – Nahida/Dendro Traveler – flex

Nilou Bloom

For Nilou Bloom teamไs, you may want to build more Elemental Mastery than normal. Collei should be paired with another Dendro unit to provide Energy and supplement her Dendro application. The last slot can be your favorite Hydro unit. Make sure you have a healer, since you’ll be taking a lot of self-damage.

Hyperbloom/Burgeon

Collei can help to create Dendro Cores for ♌Hyperbloom or Burgeon teams. Her Dendro application doesn’t last very long, so you will probably want to have a second Dendro unit to help her. Add a Hydro unit to trigge𒈔r Bloom and an Electro or Pyro unit to trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon, respectively.

  • Collei – Nahida/Dendro Traveler/Alhaitham – Xingqiu/Yelan – Kuki Shinobu/Thoma
  • Collei – Baizhu/Yaoyao – Xingqiu/Yelan – Raiden/Thoma
  • Collei – Nahida/Dendro Traveler/Alhaitham – Kokomi/Barbara – Raiden/Thoma
