Best deck for Rune Giant event in Clash Royale

Ezy peezy

Rune Giant is a new card that was released in Clash Royale and to celebr🅷ate this, the developers have launched a new event. The rule of this event is pretty simple: one of the slots in your deck will be fixed as Rune Giant, and you have to make a deck around her.

So, finding a great Rune Giant deck might be a bit of a hassle. To help you with that, here is the best deck that you can use in the Rune Giant event in Clash Royale.

  • Rune Giant
  • Archers
  • Hunter
  • Goblin Giant
  • Fisherman
  • Guards
  • Arrows
  • Rage

You can’t get two evolutions in your deck since Rune Giant is locked and you can’t move her to the other slots. So your choice of evolution is between Goblin Giant and Archers. You can take anyone: Goblin Giant if you want to be more offensive or Archers if you want more defense.

Your main attack is the combination of Rune Giant and Goblin Giant. Put Rune Giant at the front with support from the Goblin Giant. Make sure to use the Rage spell only when you want to reach the enemy’s tower faster or you are swarmed with mini-troops.

You can use Fisherman to hook any enemy troop strangling your push. Also, don’t rely much on Arrows during the push until you see Firecracker, Dart Gobin, and Minion Hoardes.

You can deploy Archers or a Hunter if you want to, but I usually restrain myself from using these unless it is a double elixir or triple elixir p𒆙has𝐆e. The average elixir of this deck is 3.5 so it gets easier as the match progresses. You can basically spam any card during the triple elixir phase.

In terms of defense, your best bet is the Hunter and Archers. So make sure not to deploy th🐬em closely, as they can easily die from a Fireball, a Rocket, a Poison, etc. You can kite your opponent and push through Guards where Archers willꦏ help you take down enemies. Also, remember that Arrows can entirely eliminate both Guards and Archers, so make sure there is some distance between them.

You can use Arrows for cloned enemies, Goblin Barrell, or even as a last line of defense. But as mentioned before, the match gets easier once you enter the double elixir phase. So, don’t make any rash decisions in the single-elixir phase. You can also use Rage to speed up your defense, and trust me, this move doesn’t look desperate.
