You’ll collect resources for meal recipes throughout your adventures, whether from Tom’s Ingredient Center or villagers. Rations are required to cook these dishes, and you can get them for free at your Base Camp. Meat, Fish, and Veggies will always be provided, giving you standard buffs for effects. The Veggies and Droolshroom is one of the best early meals you can make, providing a total of five buffs. You’ll discover Droolshrooms while exploring Scarlet Forest, which is found near the Wudwuds. Combining the ingredients provides the Black Belt Meal, a buff that reduces stamina depletion.

This ultimate seafood dish, with its additional stat points and Tumbler Meal buff, makes it easier to survive through the game’s many intense showdowns. You’ll find the Mud Shrimp at Oilwell Basin, extending your evasion’s invulnerability.
