The Polyatomic Ion Particle is an important resource in The First Descendant that is required for things like♊ Energy Activators and other things. You’ll need a lot of them to really improve your builds, so here’s what you need🧸 to know.
How to farm Polyatomic Ion Particles in The First Descendant
Polyatomic Ion Partic💛les can be found by completing various missions, defeating “Mission Monster,” or completing the Quarantine Zone in the Fallen Ark area of The Fortress.
These are all the sources where the “Mission ♈Monster” droไps the Polyatomic Ion Particle:
Fortress
- Munitions Loading Dock
- Command Relay
- Ship Charging Facility
- Frozen Shipyard
- Giant Hangar
- High-thermal Source Detected Zone
- Destroyed Base
- Fortress Command Entrance
All of these missions can also be played on Hard mode for better drop chances.
“Mission Monster” means that it refers to the Elite enemies you face. Bosses also count. Any enemy wit💎h a yellow health bar counts as one but does not always guarantee a drop of the Polyatomic Ion Particle.
Best Polyatomic Ion Particle farm in The First Descendant
Of all the sources in-game, the best Polyatomic Ion Particle farm is the Battlefield Mission Command Relay in the Frozen Valley area in The Fortress. It’ꦬs also best to play this mission on Hard mode🌸.
The mission can be completed in mere minutes, guarantee▨ing two Elites and a boss to spawn.
If you bring a Descendant like Bunny, Freya, Valby, or any other who can clear mobs o💛f enemies quickly, the farming will be even faster. Just visit the terminal to start the mission and head over to the ring ෴where the entire mission will take place.
You will quite literally have to clear mobs of enemies to keep the point from💖 being taken over. By clearing them, you’ll spawn more, and eventually, the Elites come out.
Every time an Elite spawns, it progresses to the next phase of the mission. After two, the boss comes out. Ju🐼st rinse and repeat until you have gotten as many Polyatomic Ion Particles as you need.
