In Sandgate village, surrounded by enemies and seemingly in a bit of a bind, you will meet a familiar face in Black Myth: Wukong. But can you help him out?

Can you free the horse man at the Village in Black Myth: Wukong

When you arrive at the Sandgate Village and finally make your way inside (I’d suggest going around to the right, as it’s a bit easier, and then you get to ambush the guards at the gate), you will find a familiar face. The horseman whom you met in Black Wind Mountain is in there, and he is a bit of a pickle.

The rats have tied him to a pillar, and it would appear they plan on turning him into dinner for their master. If you are wondering if there is anything you can do to help the horseman out, there does not seem to be. He is c💝ontent with the idea that he can get himself out of that mess and seems more worried about you꧒r safety than his own.

All you can really do is explore the area. There are some chests and a bosಌs to fight, and if you open the gate, you can ambush the guards and get yourself a nice Spirit for your trouble.

The Horse Guai will show up in other locations throughout the game, and his real name is Ma Tianba. I want to try and help you find this chap in each chapter without actually ruining too much, so you can find someꦦ brief locations below.

• Chapter 1 – Found just after the fight against the wolf demon Lingxuzi in a small shrine.
• Chapter 2 – Sandgate Village, tied to a pole
• Chapter 3 – Can be found in the New Thunderclap Temple
• Chapter 4 – After the Centipede boss, you can find him all bundled up in a cocoon.
• Chapter 5 – Can be found near the Misty Cloud fight.
