Can you pause Remnant 2? – Answered

Gunfire Games’ latest title is jam-packed with action, so you may find yourself reaching for a pause button in Remnant 2. After all, what else are you going to do if you want to take a breather or make sure your dinner’s out of the oven? In the hellish landscapes of this game, however, time waits for no one.

Is there a way to pause Remnant 2?

Unfortunately, there is no way to pause Remnant 2. It’s set up like the Destiny series and many Soulslikes in which the game around you is uninterrupted. You can certainly go into a menu and swap out your weapons and gear, but you’ll always be in danger. The best way to go is to wait until the coast is clear and find a safe spot. Have a friend in your party protect you as you run to the bathroom or save your overcooked macaroni and cheese.

On PC, there’s reportedly a way to pause the game manually. You can use the by ryanries to stop the game. However, as you’d likely be squading up with friends while playing Remnant 2, it likely won’t be useful. Hopefully, Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing add a pause option in a future update, similar to how the FIFA (now FC) games work. If 🥀one ♐player pauses the game, everyone waits.

Can you play Remnant 2 with your friends on other platforms?

Remnant 2 isn’t crossplay compatible. If you’re playing Remnant 2 on PC, you can’t team up with your buddies on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Thankfully, Steam and Epic Games Store players can still form a team.
