Acquire the Wind and Wave shield to complete the Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map quest in Avowed. This shield provides 63 Block Efficiency, 20 Stability, 220 Parry Efficiency, and 30 Elemental Resistance. It’ll make you move around faster and gain a 20 percent frost resistance. Given that the shield is of Exceptional Quality, it’ll make for a great starter tool and an asset to your weapon combinations.

You can also interact with the chest to claim more goodies, including Golden Scelling, a Common Mail Hauberk, two Pelts, and a Softwood Branch. It’s a lot of stuff, so you may want to send it over to the camp, just in case you get encumbered.
