Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 may have been released back in September, but it shows no indication of slowing the flow of content. Keeping near-constant communication with players, the teams behind the game recently shared what would be in store for players in the near future. That includes a new weapon to play with and some more general balance changes to weapons overall. Aside from the preview, Space Marine 2's developer, Saber Interactive, took some time to respond to frequent player suggestions the stu??dio has already received.

Space Marine 2 outlined its plans for live service even before it was released, promising additional content, new weapons, and more cosmetic options. So far, the title has made good on those promises, first adding a spa?rring arena and taking care of some quality-of-life fixes before turning to a more substantive new Operation. While there was a brief period of community upset after some nerfs, the team quickly pivoted to retract the changes and announced test servers to avoid similar mistakes in the future. With the most recent communication about the game, players have even more context about where Space Marine 2 will go next.

The Neo-Volkite Pistol is inbound

In an October Community Update, the Space Marine 2 team formally introduced players to the Neo-Volkite Pistol. This weapon will be available as a Secondary option for Assault, Bulwark, and Vanguard players. The Neo-Volkite Pistol looks like a ray gun in action, emitting a super-heated orange beam to melt through foes. The team described the weapon, saying, "The Neo-Volkite Pistol is a thermal weapon with accumulative damage. Its heat rays have a deadly impact on organic matter, incinerating flesh into ash with explosive force and jets of flame. A weapon of choice against Tyranids!" Alongside ?the Neo-Volkite Pistol, the team promised that other firearms would also see some buffs, though more specifics weren't given.

Volkite technology in the Warhammer 40,000 universe is old, dating well back before the Horus Heresy, during the Age of Strife. The weaponry used to be pretty commonplace, but a combination of its complexity to produce and barbarity when used on organics led to the weapons eventually falling out of favor. It was primarily replaced by Bolt weaponry, and by the 41st millennium, original Volkite weaponry is exceedingly rare. That said, ?the Neo-Volkite Pistol is the first attempt to bring the devastating weapon into the franchise's modern age.

The October communication simply noted that the Neo-Volkite Pistol and the other firearms buff would arrive soon. However, the team ?then detailed that Dark Angel cosmetics would arrive afterward in an update targeted for early December. With that info in tow, it stands to reason that players will be getting their hands on the Neo-Volkite Pistol and retuned weapons sometime this month.

Saber Interactive responds to player suggestions

Aside from the exciting news that players will soon have a new toy to play with, the Community Update also puts some focus on the community. Namely, it listed some of the frequent questions or suggestions the team receives about Space Marine 2 and set to answer them. The ?first suggestion tackled was players' constant ask for more melee weapons. Saber responded by acknowledging that new melee weapons would indeed be nice and that it's something the studio will consider when the time is right. That said, the work is time and resource-intensive, so it's not currently planned.

More campaign missions were the next ask from fans, which is no surprise considering the stellar outing already within the base game of Space Marine 2. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like?? this is a priority for Saber Interactive. Responding to the suggestion, the studio noted, "We're currently not thinking about adding new campaign missions in Space Marine 2. We rather focus on creating new Operations and Eternal War content."

PvP players have been clamoring for more options, specifically for larger party sizes. Saber notes that it's activel?y working on customer PvP lobbies that will support tinkering with features like Class limit, score, time, and mo?re. Also on the side of multiplayer, fans have asked for some kind of incentive for queuing up for quickmatch. The studio responded that it was already considering it for a future update.

Due to lore and ??IP preservation concerns, Saber Interaction is unwilling to make PvP's Chaos-driven Heretic Astartes available in PvE Operations. On the bright side, the team has h?eard players' desire to experience the game's prologue again. While Saber notes that it's not a priority, it may add a way to replay the opening.

Customization is its own game

In addition to tackling players' questions about the game itself, the Community Update had a whole section dedicated to responding to queries about Space Marine 2's customization options. Leading the discussion was an update about colored lens options for helmets. The minor details are incredibly important to the Warhammer 40K community, so Saber reports that the feature is ready to be deployed al?ongside the upco?ming Dark Angels Chapter Pack.

The studio also confirmed a few other customization tweaks are in development, including skin color customization. Deathwatch iconography will also be able to be placed on the right shoulder, eventually. Lieutenant helmet customization is coming, and Saber notes that it wants to make helmet customization a more robust feature but that it will take some time over the life of Space Marine 2. Generally speak?ing, the studio also noted ?that it wants to continue to add more customization options, likely as DLC.

Outside of what Saber has been able to confirm is either being worked on or considered, there are a few things that the studio notes might be outside the expected scope of post-launch support. Namely, adding more customization slots isn't something Saber intends to work on, as the team would rather build out more impactful features. Players have also? called for the option to recolor and customize cloth and tabards. While it's something Saber might consider later on, the work required to produce a worthwhile version of the feature would impede the development of existing plans.

Star Wars Outlaws has posted disappointing sales figures since its launch on August 30, according to a report from Insider Gaming. It has been reporte?d that the game has only shipped 1 millio??n titles in the month since it hit shelves - which, as the publication points out, is a fraction of what Ubisoft typically expects from open-world big-budget projects.

Ubisoft has made moves to try and improve results, launching a roadmap of planned improvements for the months ahead, but, as things stand, Outlaws has greatly underperformed against the likes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which had sold mi??llions of copies within the first week and a half of i?ts launch.

The trailer and premise for Star Wars Outlaws had built quite a buzz of anticipation as fans of the franchise looked forward to an open-world setting in which they could explore sets similar? to those in the movies?? and subsequent series.

However, the game was hit with some major bugs on the day of? launch and its reception from? critics and players has been somewhat underwhelming. Five days after the launch of the game, Ubisoft’s share price had dropped 13.5%, presumably as a result of poor sales figures.

In ?a bid to try and resurrect the title, Ubisoft has a??nnounced a roadmap of developments that they hope will steady the ship. Two major updates are due in October, both of which concentrate on fixing bugs within the game. November 21 sees a major update that Ubisoft promises will improve the stealth and combat within the game.

Ubisoft will hope the f??ixes and first patch will help boost sales figures and interest as the game’s first DLC is also set for launch on November 21 and the game debuts on Steam on the same day. A Steam launch can help lagging game sale??s as many PC players wait for its launch on the platform.

The Adeptus Astartes of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have an assortment of weapons to play with. However, in Space Marine 2's PvE Operations mode, players will need to upgrade their gear if t?hey want to keep pace with tuned-up difficulty options.

While higher diffi??culty settings? offer more significant rewards, they also impose some of the most formidable challenges in the game. That said, the path toward improving weaponry isn't exactly straightforward.

Space Marine 2 offers cooperative PvE in the form of its Operations mode. It currently contains six difficulty-adjustable missions, with plans to add more. As players ramp up the difficulty, XP and the chance for better rewards increases, but it also means basic ?bolt?ers and chainswords won't cut it.

Master your arsenal

The Armory is where the Ultramarines can tinker with their equipment between missions. A quick visit to the Armory allows players to access a menu where all availab??le gear can be equipped, upgraded, and have cosmetics applied. While players can unlock additional weapons as they level up, they can start upgrading the ones they already have right from the start.

The first thing players will need to do to upgrade the weapo?n of their choice is to use it. As players complete Operations and earn XP or Gene Seed, they'll also earn progress toward mastering the current iteration of their weapon. Once the gun or melee armament has been used enough, players will ear??n a Mastery Point to upgrade the weapon family further.

Don't forget the Armory Data

However, before that Mastery Point can be used, players will first need to upgrade the quality of their chosen weapon. This is done by expending the Armory Data required to unlock the next tier. The Data itself can be earned in each Operation, rewarde??d for finding hidden Servo Skulls within the PvE missions. 

There are three variations of Armory Data: Master Crafted (green), Artificer (purple), and Relic (yellow). The quality of Armory Data found depends on the difficulty of the Operation, so Relic upgrades will n??aturall??y only come from the highest tier of difficulty. In that same vein, as players upgrade a weapon family, it will ask for the corresponding quality Armory Data.

How to spend Mastery Points

Once players have earned Mastery Points and have unlocked the next tier of their weapon, they can spend the Points to improve how the weapon family performs. You can access the Perk Tree tab by viewing the weapon in the Armory, and that's where upgrades will be available. The number of available Perks coincides with the number of variants in the weapon family, so ??don't worry; extra work will be rewarded.

Pushing into Artificer and Relic tiers, players will need to master multiple variations of the weapon, with each successful variant bringing players closer toward overall mastery for the next weapon tier. These weapon variants can be changed at wil??l by visiting the Armory and switching via the Versions tab on the weapon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is dominating the franchise's news cycle, but that's not to say that there isn't more going on in the Call of Duty world, as Warzone is adding Terrifier's Art the Clown to the game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is almost a full year into its run, and Call of Duty: Warzone remains a favorite among many first-person shooter and battle royale game enthusiasts. To keep fans of those games engaged ahead of Black Ops 6's release, some spooky seasonal DLC is? on its?? way, just in time for the Halloween season.

On September 10, it came to light that the Modern Warfare 3 event The Haunting is on its way, along with all kinds of spooky goodies. Most notably, several horror icons will be added to the game. While Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise and Sam from the Trick 'r Treat series are worth getting excited about, the one who has really created a buzz in the horror and Call of Duty communities is Art the Clown. The murderous clown, portrayed by David Howard Thornton, is the centerpiece of director Damien Leone's Terrifier film series, which launched in 2016.

In short order, Art has become quite beloved by lovers of all things scary. So, if you are one of these individuals, you're likely wondering how you can play as him in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Here's how and when you can access him.

You'll have to pay up to play as Art

Thankfully, accessing Art in the two aforementioned Call of Duty titles doesn't require anything crazy. No convoluted in-game requirements, no absurd Easter egg. That said, given that this is a Call of Duty? add-on (and a licensed one, at that), Art isn't a? free download.

Instead, you'll have to pay up over in the Call of Duty Store if you want to terrify the war zone as the creepy horror rising star. Art is available as part of the Tracer Pack: Terrifier Operator Bundle. At the time of publication, the exact price has not b?een revealed, but surely it will soon.

If the Tracer Pack follows historical precedent, it'll likely run $19.99 or 2,400 CoD points when it becomes available at the start of the Haunting event on September 18. While that may seem like a lot of money for just the Art skin, you do get a bit more bang for your buck. Aside from the Operator skin, the bundle is also advertised to include a Terrifier weapon blueprint, the Miles County Killer weapon blueprint, a weapon charm, a weapon sticker, a large decal, a Terrifier emblem and a Terrifier loading screen. Now that's more like it.

The Haunting event runs from September 18 to O??ctober 16, so if you want to get in on all the terrifying fun and secure yourself an A?rt the Clown Operator skin, that's the time to do so.

How to get the JAK Slash Aftermarket attachment in Modern Warfare 3 Season 5

In order to unlock the JAK Slash, you'll first need to complete any five of the Weekly Challenges available to you. This can be done via playing MW3's Multiplayer, Zombies, or Battle Royale modes. Each mode has a set of different challenges that you can pursue for the unlock. These challenges all count toward the required f??ive, regardless of the game mode.

For the JAK Slash, I recommend completing all the necessary challenges in MW3's Multiplayer mode, as the challenges there are super fast to finish and easy to do. There are several there that can be completed using one or two gun setups, which is highly convenient if you want to unlock it fast. Here are the ??ones I focused on.

• Get 25 Operator Hipfire Kills
• Get 20 Operator Kills with Silenced Weapons or Throwing Knives
• Get 10 Operator Hipfire Kills with Battle Rifles
• Get 30 Operator Kills shorty after Sprinting with SMGS
• Get 10 Operator Kills with the Gun-Butt of a Weapon

I used the Sidewinder Battle Rifle and the Supperi 46 SMG for all these challenges, only changing around their attachments as necessary. The ??process was rather short thanks to the overlap these challenges allow f?or.

How strong is the JAK Slash in Modern Warfare 3 Season 5?

The JAK Slash attachment functions similarly to how a melee attack works when you have a Throwing Knife equipped in your Lethal slot. This is the largest advantage for the part, considering you don't need to waste a slot equipping a Breacher or Throwing Knife to get a one-hit kill melee attack. The attachment also gives you a small boost to your Movement Speed, Sprint Speed, and Vertical Recoil at the cost of a small reduction to your ??Hipfire Spread and Tac Stance Spread. The JAK Slash can also, uniquely be equipped as an underbarrel on weapons that normally d??on't allow attachments of this type.

The largest downside to the JAK Slash is that it takes up your Underbarrel slot. For many weapons, this isn't a big deal, but depending on what you're looking for, this disadvantage may not be worth it. Overall, it's a very solid attachment that will see some use depending on the gun it is equipped on, ?though I don't expect it to be commonplace in the meta.

Mastering the insane mobility available to you in Mecha BREAK is imperative if you want to b?e competitive. One of the most powerful, yet obscured, mobility options you have is Fast Landing, and I'll explain here how you too can use it.

How to use Fast Landing in Mecha BREAK

Fast Landing is a mechanic that allows you to plunge downward to the ground from any verticle position. All mecha in Mecha BREAK can perform it, but thanks to it not being highlighted in the game's tutorial, it's easy to miss such a powerful tool. So, to do a Fast Landing, simply hit ALT by default. Doing so while airborne in any capacity will see ?you perform a Fast Landing.

The biggest reason why you'd want to use a Fast Landing is for hasty repositioning. There's noth?ing worse than being caught airborne while a Narukami is scoping you out. You're the very definition of a sit-and-duck in?? such a scenario, but with Fast Landing, you can easily escape it.

In a similar scope, Fast Landing is also extremely good at breaking enemy lock-ons and general targeting because o??f just how fast you can reach the dirt from any verticle position. The landing is so quick that it was incredibly difficult for me to even get a screenshot of it in action.

Now, imagine you're trying to ai?m at someone who decided to use a Fast Landing behind a skyscraper on Gracelynn Skycity. Let's just say that nothing you can do will catch them in the act. You're losing that lock, which is precisely why Fast Landing is so strong. I've found it especially powerful for Falcon and Skyraider because of their natural ability to transform and reposition thanks to their jet transformations.

If you want to stay competitive in Mecha BREAK, mastering Fast Landing is a must. I??ts blinding speed and exceptional positioning power make it a game-changer. You'll be amazed at the intense engagements you can survive just by utilizing this sk?ill effectively.

The mecha you pilot in Mecha BREAK are all quite powerful out of the box, but you can use Mods to custom-tailor them to your liking. The best Mods you can use are called Top-Tier mods, and getting your hands on them can be rather difficult if you don?'t already know how.

Where to get Top-tier Mods in Mecha BREAK

There are two different sources where you can obtain Top-tier Mods. Both methods yield random stats on your Mods but they are Top-tier nonetheless. You'll know you've gotten your hands on one if the Mod has a yellow background.

Opening Seasonal Crates

Your initial source of Top-tier Mods will be from opening the Seasonal Crates, which you automatically obtain just by playing the game. You'll receive these crates automatically, but you still need to manually open them by yourself. To do this, navigate over to your Inventory from the hanger screen, and click on it there. There's a good chance you ??already have a bunch piled up, and there's no harm in opening them in batches.

Every time you open a crate, you have a chance to receive a Top-tier Mod. In my experience, you have a much better chance of getting a Top-tier mod from a Supply Crate Type II, though the chance is still pretty low. It is highly unlikely (if ??not impossible) that you'll get a Top-tier Mod from a Supply Crate Type I.

Craft through Mod Assembly

The other, more guaranteed, method of getting your hands on a Top-tier Mod is by crafting it yourself in the Mod Assembly. You get to Mod Assembly by entering it through the Hanger, pressing the 'Mod' button at the top of the screen, and then Mod Part Assembly at the bottom.

Crafting a Top-Tier Mod requires the use of 10 Advanced Mods, making the process quite costly, especially considering the final stats remain randomized. Advanced Mods are distinguished by their purple background, so you can easily identify them while hunting for the necessary components. Gathering all the required Mods will demand a signifi??cant amount of grinding, but there is no immediate competitive pressure to rush the process. Why?

Keep in mind that while top-tier Mods may offer the highest stats, they also come with the most severe drawbacks. This is a critical factor to consider when designing any build, as these negative effects can ??significantly impact your performance. Balancing the benefits and drawbacks of these powerful Mods requires careful consideration. Ensuring that your build can handle the negative aspects while still capitalizing on the positive ones is key to maximizing your effectiveness on the battlefield.

If you've dropped into the Fortnite island recently, you may hav?e been shocked to see a strange hooded being walking around the map. While s?ome players have called them a ghost, their name is The Wanderer, and I'm here to explain who they are, and what purpose they serve.

This ghost-like character has been living up to his name, moving around the island seemingly oblivious?? to the carnage that's going on around them. Get too close, and sometimes they just disappe??ar, leaving you bewildered and wondering if you actually saw them at all.

Who is The Wanderer?

Truthfully, we?? don't know yet. Interestingly, however, The Wanderer has been teased throughout Season 3 if you know where to look for the clues.

If you look at the Season 3 Battle Pass, sp?ecifically Page 14, you'll see the Nitro Fusion Megalo Don loading screen. Look at the black muscle car to the right ?of the artwork, and you'll see a mysterious hooded figure that looks a lot like The Wanderer.

It's?? not just the loading screen that links The Wanderer to Megalo Don though, with radio broadcasts making it clear that he wants the ghostly figu?re to be on his side. Whether this makes The Wanderer an evil entity or is leading up to The Wanderer turning on Megalo Don remains to be seen.

If you keep an eye out on buildings, you may say his figure spray-painted on walls across the island, and he was also mentioned in the Season ??2 Oracle Quests.

The other NPCs that inhabit the map are clearly not fans though, stating that The Wanderer gives them a strange feeling and that they feel t??hat they're being watched. Creepy indeed. Even players are confused, wit??h some saying that they originally thought it was a glitch.

• North of Brutal Beachhead
• North of Redline Rig
• East of Nitrodome
• East of Restored Reels
• South of Lavish Lair
• Northeast of Classy Courts

Can I interact with The Wanderer?

No, you cannot currently interact with The Wanderer. If you get too close, they'll simply disappear as if they were never there. That m??ay change as the season goes on though, so we'll keep you updated on any changes.

If you've been longing for classic POIs since the end of Fortnite OG, then you're in luck, as the game's latest mode Reload, brings a smaller version of the original map back to the game. Here are the best Fortnite Reload landing spots.

Gamers who have played Call of Duty: Warzone's Resurgence mode will feel right at home in Fortnite Reload, where t??eammates will continuously respawn as long as a member of the squad is still alive.

With 40 players total and just nine POIs on a small island, picking the right landing spot is imperative. That's why I've put together this guide of the five best landing spots in Fortnite Reload so you can ??loot up and ??get ready for the constant stream of action.

5. Lil' Loot Lake

Lil' Loot Lake features just one house in the middle of the water, just like the OG Loot Lake. This makes it a tough spot to land, but if you can take control of it, you'll? be in a great spot. The house has weapons inside and underneath, while nobody will be able to get across the water to challenge you without you seeing them. Just keep someone watching the sky for enemies dropping in.

This is the ultimate Fortnite Reload stronghold—if you're brave enough for the early fight.??

4. Lone Lodge

Unlike some of the POIs that will follow on this list, Lonely Lodge isn't what I would classify as a hot drop. Instead, it's a fairly quiet location right at the ?top of the map, surrounded by trees. While this means you may find yourself short on action, Lone Lodge is a quiet place to gear up without the threat of constant attacks, ?and because the map is small, you're not far away from the busier locations should you want to head into some battles.

3. Tilted Towers

I love Tilted Towers, and some of my favorite Fortnite memories are still ones made in this ult?ra-popular location. The nostalgia ar?ound the original hot drop location is strong, which is why it's a good place to land, but not the best.

Tilted Towers is full of weapons and loot, but it's also going to be heaving with enemies desperate to wipe you out. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you want to get straight into the heat of battle, it's the best? place to be.

2. Retail Row

Retail Row is an odd POI. Sometimes when you drop there, the place will be crawling with enemies. Other times, you're the only one there. This 50??/50 chance makes i?t worth the risk, as between the shops that line the car park and the houses beside it, there are plenty of opportunities to loot up.

Be careful if you rotate here later on though, as it used to be a haven for s?nipers who wanted to pick you off from a distance.

1. Pleasant Park

In the early days of Fortnite, Pleasant Park was my regul?ar drop, and things haven't changed in 2024. There are plenty of houses to ransack in the search for weapons and loot, and the buildings themselves provide good cover from enemy gunfire.

Up in the northwest corne??r, rotation to Lone Lodge, Tilted Towers, or Lil' Loot Lake is easy, making it my top choice f??or where to land. It can be busy though, so be ready for combat.

Great news, Helldivers 2 fans! The special cape de?signed to commemorate the review bomb controversy after Sony required players to have a PSN account is complete, according to Arrowhead CCO John Pilestedt. Bad news: It's not being released just yet.

In response to a fan question about the cape, Pilestedt confirmed that work on the special cosmetic item had been completed, but had no timeframe for a drop date, writing: "We want to find the right time to release it."

What that means in terms of an actual launch date is unknown, and really?? could mean days, weeks?, or even months before we get our hands on it.

The cape was originally teased by Pilestedt back on May 11, posting a cropped image of a cape. It is being created to commemorate one of Helldivers 2's darkest weekends when fans revolted against Sony's decision to?? make PSN accounts man??datory for PC players. The decision was so unpopular ??that the game's dedicated ??fanbase and players who truly love the game decided to take action and post thousands of negative reviews against the game on Steam, using it to show their anger with Sony.

Eventually, with the negativity being so widespread and the negative reviews tanking Helldivers 2 overall rating to "Overwhelmingly Negative" on Steam, Sony had to backpedal and admit defeat, scrapping the plan entirely.

While this may not be a pleasant memory for Sony or Arrowhead, it was an incredible moment for gamers, showing that if we fight hard enough for what we believe in, we can convince developers and publishers to change course. For that reason, plenty of Helldivers will wear this cape with pride whenever we ?finally get our han?ds on it in-game.

Syd was first added to the game in July 2022, but was removed from?? the Item Shop just days later. It has returned to the store six times ?since then, but never for very long, meaning that if you didn't get it in that window, you were out of luck.

Nine months since Syd's last appearance, the character has finally returned as part of Fortnite's 30.10 update, and here's how you can get it.

How to get the Syd Fortnite skin

The Syd Fortnite skin is currently available in the in-game Item Shop, and can be purchased for 1,200 V-Bucks.

Along with the skin, you also get two additional skin styles, a LEGO Fortnite skin, and the Cuddlebear Cutie back bling. Not bad for 1,200 V-Bucks. If you want even more content, the Beary Cuddly Bundle includes all ??of the above, plus the Weighted Spikegloves pickaxe and the Heartwave weapon wrap.

How long is Syd going to stay in Fortnite?

According to Fortnite.gg, Syd will stay in the Item Shop until June 27, when it will disappear again. Of course, this hasn't been confirmed by Epic, but giv?es yo?u a rough idea of when it will be removed.

Fortnite patches often add new and exciting content for players to enjoy, but they'??ve been known to take things away too. Following the June 13 update, fans are wondering if Party Royale has been removed, and we've got the answer.

Fortnite's 30.10 update definitely introduced a lot of stuff, from the massive Metallica collaboration, the Ride the Lightning Mythic item, and new modes to LEGO Fortnite. Epic definitely gives, but they also take away, and that has be????en the case with the latest patch.

Did Epic remove Party Royale?

Yes, Epic Games has removed Party Royale from Fortnite. The mode had been in the game since April 2020, but four years on, it is no more. As for why it's gone, unfortunately, we don't know that either. Epic didn't even announce that the mode was gone, and we ha??d to jump on for ourselves to check.

Worst of all, we don't know if this is Epic removing it with a plan to update and improve it, or if it's gone for good, never to be seen again. Epic says that anything they place in the vault always has a chance of returning, but just ask fans of the Among Us-esque Impostors mode how that's gone.

Party Royale was a special place in Fortnite, ideal for those who found the battle royale mode a little too stressful. Here, players could hang out without the threat of elimination, watch movies or concerts?? by musical artists, and take part in fun mini-games with friends. The experimental spac?e would change and evolve as seasons went by and had a dedicated fanbase who loved it.

All we can do now ??is hope that Epic has plans f??or its return.

Metallica has invaded Fortnite, ??and it's not just their music that you can hear. As you roam around the island, there's a good chance you'll hear the sound of an electric guitar and a flash of lightning, thanks t?o the Ride the Lightning Mythic item.

Introduced as part of Fortnite's 30.10 update, the Ride the Lightning guitar lets you create an arc of lightning that you, and your teammates, can ride. Shooting you up into the air, you can then use it to rotate to a new location or to escape from ?a battle that you're losing.

Don't worry if you don't know how to get it though, as I've got you covered. Here's where to find the Ride the Lightning Mythic item in Fortnite.

Where to get Ride the Lightning guitar in Fortnite

Ride the Lightning guitars can be found in Chests scattered around the island, or on the floor as ground loot. You can also find them on the Metallica Loot Island, which spawns in the middle of matches. Should you get up there, you can rock out with the four members of the legendary ba?nd and get a Ride the Lightning guitar as a reward.

This will come as good news to many players, as sometimes getting a Mythic item can be a pain, especially if you need to defeat an NPC to get your hands on it. Thankfully, that's not the case here, and anyone can pick it ?up and use it.

In fact, in the few games I've played since the update was released, I've seen qui??te a few of them sitting around the island, so it doesn't look like they'll be that hard to find either. So get into the action, pick up a guitar, and zap up into the sky.

Following a short delay, it's finally time to get our hands on Fortnite's v30.10 update, which brings a host of Metallica content including a concert and a new weapon, an updated Loot Island, and changes to LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing. Check out the full patch notes below.

Fortnite's 30.10 patch was originally scheduled to drop on June 11, but after a two-day delay, it's finally here. The headline addition, of course, is the Metallica collaboration, which is taking place across all of Fortnite's modes.

Metallica takes over

Fancy experiencing six of Metallica's biggest songs as you've never experienced them before? ??Then get ready for Fuel. Fire. Fury, a six-song in-game concert that will take place over the weekend of June 22.

Unsurprisingly, Metallica is headed for Fortnite Festival, where they'll take part in a PvP Bat?tle Stage where 16 players enter and one is left ??standing, kind of like a musical battle royale.

Of course, all four members are also available as skins too, included in the Fortnite Festival Season 4 Premium Reward Track. Players will unlock Lars Ulrich as soon as they purchase the track, with James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo unlocked by earning XP and ?ranking up. Special "Master of Puppets" versions will also be available to purchase in the in-game store.

There's also a special Metallica-themed Rocket Racing track which plays Fuel in the ?background as you speed around, so there are plenty of ways for fans of the band to celebrate.

Metallica Loot Island

As part of the crossover, a special Metallica-themed Loot Island is coming to Battle Royale! In the middle o??f every match, the floating island will appear from? a rift, with a stage on top inspired by the one used on their M72 World Tour.

Epic Games says that if you "rock out to the holographic James, Lars, Kir?k, and Robert," you'll be able to capture the POI, and the loot that comes with it.

Ride the Lightning guitars

Ride the Lightning guitars are one of two new additions to the loot pool, allowing player??s to create a lightning bolt in the sky that you and your teammates can ride on to rotate around the island.

This Mythic item is available as bo??th ground ??loot or from Chests, so grab one and take to the sky.

Tow Hook Cannon

Epic has also added the Tow Hook Cannon, a new weapon that should help you combat all those pesky vehicles driving around.

Fire it at a car, and you'll be able t??o slow it down, making it ha?rder for them to run you over.

Cozy and Expert Mode in LEGO Fortnite

Epic has given us more ways to play LEGO Fortnite by dropping two new difficulty levels. Cozy Mode makes enemies easi??er to fight, turns of Storm-Wild creatures entirely, remov?es hunger, temperature, and stamina, and lets you keep your inventory when you die.

Expert, meanwhile, is for those who really want a challenge, as th?e Storm-Wild enemies deal more damage, have more health, and move faster than regular creatures. It's also a hardcore mode, which means that when you die, that's it. No more respawns unless? you have a Totem of Return.

If you jumped into Fortnite this week expecting to see a new set of Week 3 Quests ready for you to complete, you may be scratc?hing your ?head, wondering where they are. Here's why this week's challenges are missing.

Every week, Epic Games drops a fresh set of Quests into the game, which rewards you with XP when completed. This XP is then used to rank up your Season 3 Battle Pass, unlocking more skins and cosmetic items for you to ?use.

Unfortunately, this week?? there are no no? challenges as of yet, and I can tell you why.

Why are Fortnite's Week 3 Quests not appearing?

Fortnite's Week 3 Quests aren't showing up in your game because they should have been added with this week's v30.10 update, which was scheduled to be released on Tuesday, June?? 11. However, Epic Games tweeted that the patch had? been delayed until Thursday, June 13, meaning that the challenges haven't been added to the game yet.

When will Forntite's Week 3 Quests appear?

Epic? has confirmed that the Week 3 Quests will arrive with the v30.10 update on June 13. It's unclear if they will unlock as soon as downtime ends or if we'll have to wait until 2 pm BST / 9 am ET / 6 am PT when challenges normally go li??ve.

Fortnite is well known for hosting a bunch of different game modes these days, but fans of the game are begging Epic to bring back the ultra-popular Imposters mode which was based on Among Us.

With Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, Epic Games has served up a smorgasbord of ways to play the game, in an attempt to keep as many gamers as possible inside their ecosystem at all times. For Fortnite fans, however, it's the Among Us-inspired Imposters that they want to see.

Added in August 2021, we were able t??o enjoy it for a full year until Epic removed it in 2022. Two years on, we haven't heard anything about it since, and want that to change.

"I don't know why they ever removed it," wrote HypixL on Reddit. "It was fun and really good for grinding XP if you missed most of the season." Alexfrizzell agreed, stating: "I was devastated when they removed it. I know it was quite glitchy at times but it was still really fun, sometimes the glit??ches made it even more fun."

Some even enjoyed it more than the original, with Sto_Nerd stating that their "friend group never got into Among Us but we all loved Imposters," while The Cartel100 simply stated that it was "way better than Among Us."

Despite the love for the mode, Epic has been silent about it ever since vaulting it in August 2022. There's been no talk of a return, even amongst leakers, which makes it seem like it may have been removed for good. For me though, I agree with the commentors about—I liked Imposters even more than Among Us, and with so many other modes now in the game, it would be the perfect next addition to Fortnite's growing roster.

The first-person and third-person shooter with action figures from Digital Cybercherries thus continues its dream run on a new platform, afte?r having already achieved over 3,000 positive reviews on Steam. Digital Cybercherries said they have now received over 600 reviews on Xbox platforms, averaging a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 stars. It is fair to say that the game is enjoying a great start on Xbox as well.

Hypercharged: Unboxed offers a variety of gameplay modes, ranging from classic team deathmatch to King of the Hill, but also new twists to modes such as Capture the Battery where the battery can?? be thrown to friends to reach the destination quickly. The Infection mode throws waves of enemies at you and the aim is to survive as long as possible. 

Moreover, the game has a story campaign as well, which supports both online and local split-screen co-op with up to four ?players. The indie title, developed by a team of six developers, curre?ntly has two editions to offer on the Xbox Store.

The Standard Edition offers the base game for $29.99 whereas the Complete Edition is going for $39.99. If you're taking on Fortnite's Season ??3 Weekly Quests, then you'll know that the second set tasks you with healing in an Oasis Pool. If you don't know where to find one, then never fear, as I'm here to help you with a map showing their? locations.

While it's not the toughest challenge in Season 3's Week Two Quests—that honor goes to driving the Mythic Nitro Cars—this still isn't super straightfor??ward, especially if you don't know where the Oasis Pools are. Jumping in any old water you see isn't going to? cut it, so you need to be certain that you know where you're going.

Every Oasis Pool on the Fortnite map

There are five Oasis Pools in Fortnite, all found in the wasteland biome in the south of the ma??p.??

You'll kn??ow that you've found an Oasis Pool as the wate?r is a much brighter blue than normal rivers and lakes, letting you know that it's got special healing properties.

What do Oasis Pools do?

Oasis Pools will heal you when you've taken damage and will fill your health bar all the way up, which i?s very useful. If you're already at full health, they will then start boosting your Shields too, givi?ng you extra protection against enemies.

As ??an added bonus, there is usually ground loot and Chests around Oasis Pools too, which makes them an attractive place to land early-game, or a good option to rotate to later in the game. It's not the first time that an Oasis Pool has saved me after a gunfight against a sharp opponent, so keep them in mind even when you complete the Week Two challenge.

One of the big additions to Fortnite Season 3 was Mythic Nitro Cars, upgraded versions of the vehicles that have dominated the meta since the patch dropped. The Week Two Quests?? ask you to drive Megalo Don's Behemoth, The Machinists Lockjaw, or R?ingmaster Scar's Lockjaw.

Unfortunately, if you activate that challenge in the Quests screen, it won't give you the locations on the Season 3 map—I know this because I tried it myself. If you don't know where to fi??nd these vehicles, then don't panic, as I have done th??e legwork for you.

Where to find Megalo Don's Behemoth, The Machinists Lockjaw, or Ringmaster Scar's Lockjaw in Fortnite

We've marked the locations where the???? three vehicles can be found on the map below.

1. Megalo Don's Behemoth: Megalo Don's Behemoth can be found locked inside a cage east of Brutal Beachhead.
2. The Machinist's Lockjaw: The Machinist's Lockjaw can be found at the bottom of Redline Rig. Head into the bottom section with the sand roads, and head towards the southern side of the Rig. The car will be there, locked inside a cage.
3. Ringmaster Scar's Lockjaw: This Lockjaw can be found at the southern entrance of the Nitrodome, hidden in a locked cage.

How to unlock cages to drive Mythic Nitro Cars

To unlock the cages that contain the Mythic Nitro Cars, you'll ne?ed to earn Medallions. To get those, you'll need to defeat the NPC boss in that area. Once you have eliminated them, they will drop a Medallion which you then take to the locked cage.

Once you walk up, the??re will be a scanner th??at directs towards you. If you have the Medallion, it'll turn green, and unlock so you can take the vehicle inside.

If you're completing the Week Two Quests, the challenge will be completed as soon as you drive away in one of these three cars, but they're so strong that? you probably won't want to ditch it anyway.

What started out as a little bonus mode in 2008's Call of Duty: World at War has become a global phenomenon. Call of Duty's Zombies mode is a staple of the franchise, with complex lore, a sprawling multiverse, varied maps, a??nd numerous n?ow-iconic original characters behind it. Not to mention, more than a few celebrity guests have gotten in on the zombie-killing action.

While the likes of Tank Dempsey (Steve Blum), Dr. Edward Richtofen (Nolan North), and Samantha Maxis (Julie Nathanson) have carried the mode from game to game, several notable pop culture favorites have briefly come along for the ride. Malcolm McDowell, Jeff Goldblum, the late Ray Liotta, and more have featured in the mode, and that's just in Treyarch's titles. Sledgehammer Games' Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII boast celebrity guest stars of their own.

While every celebrity cameo in the Call of Duty Zombies lineage has been fun, some are just a bit more specia??l and noteworthy than others. Here are the top five best the Treyarch franchise has offered up to date.

5. Helena Bonham-Carter as Madame Mirela

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Dead of the Night takes players to the manor of skilled archaeologist Alistair Rhodes (Charles Dennis), where all kinds of paranormal entities threaten the lives of those present. Alongside Gideon Jones (Kiefer Sutherland), Jonathan Warwick (Brian Blessed), and Godfrey (Charles Dance) is Christina Fowler, aka Madame Mirela, as portrayed in voice and likeness by Helena Bonham-Carter. She turns in a solid vocal performance here, and considering her entertainment track record, she was a perfect fit for the Zombies mode.

Bonham-Carter has made a career out of taking projects of the supernatural and macabre variety. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Corpse Bride, Alice in Wonderland, and more fill her filmography. She's also among director Tim Burton's most frequent collaborators, in addition to being his former romantic partner. Bonham-Carter took the role of Mirela seriously, too, telling CinemaBlend that she personally crafted Mirela's accent and channeled Mrs. Lovett, her Sweeney Todd character, to get her Dead of the Night performance just right.

4. Ron Perlman as Floyd Campbell

Kicking off Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Zombies mode, Treyarch put its latest celebrity-loaded map at the forefront. Shadows of Evil takes place in the run-down, paranormal Morgue City, where seedy inhabitants do vile things to get ahe??ad. One of these individuals is Floyd Campbell: a washed-up boxer who's willing to kill if it means getting to the top of his profession. Ultimately, he pays the price for his underhanded tactics. Ron Perlman's unmistakable face and rumbling voice couldn't be more suitable for the grizzled journeyman fighter.

Much like Bonham-Carter, Perlman is no stranger to odd, paranormal fictional universes. He's a mainstay in the works of director Guillermo del Toro, from Cronos to Hellboy, where strange is the name of the game. The surreal French fantasy flick The City of Lost Children, starring Perlman as carnival strongman One, also boasts a similar aesthetic to Shadows of Evil. All of this experience, coupled with the fact that Perlman told IGN he'd always wanted to play a boxer in some form??, drove home the fact tha??t no one could play Campbell quite like him.

3. Joe Pantoliano as Al "The Weasel" Arlington

One of, if not the absolute best Zombies map to date, Call of Duty: Black Ops II's Mob of the Dead? features four mobsters attempting to escape Alcatraz Island via a shoddily-built plane. Not only are they unsuccessful, bu??t they're trapped in a time loop, forcing them to fend off endless waves of zombies, die, and repeat their failure over and over again for eternity. The mastermind of their initial escape plan is Al "The Weasel" Arlington, modeled after and voiced by Joe Pantoliano to utter perfection.

In a cast chock-full of crime genre legends, Pantoliano very much stands out as Mob of the Dead's MVP. The Sopranos, Matrix, and Bad Boys actor was a prime choice to bring out Weasel's meek and insecure yet innovative and intelligent personality. It's just too bad that when the character returns in Black Ops 4's Blood of the Dead, he only does so as a bird in spirit f??orm, thus preventing Pantoliano from getting another shot at the role.

2. Danny Trejo as Himself

Call of the Dead from Call of Duty: Black Ops I is the first Call of Duty Zombies map to feature a celebrity cast, and it goes all-out. When their horror film set is overru??n, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Michael Rooker have to fight off waves of zombies in the middle of Siberia. Danny Trejo joins them, signature machetes in hand, to slaughter the incoming undead. All four actors thrive with the material provided, but Tre??jo takes it to another level as only he can.

To say that the Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn actor brings enthusiasm and gusto to the project would be a massive understatement. Trejo put his all into his lines, bringing a bit of comedy as well as plenty of badassery to match his tattooed, weaponed-up character model. The actor told XboxViewTV all about his experience working on Call of the Dead back in 2011, and while he's not much of a gamer himself, it's ?abundantly clear that he had a ton of passion for the endeavor.

1. George A. Romero as Himself

Continuing on with Call of the Dead, it's worth remembering who was directing the film that Trejo, Rooker, Englund, and Gellar were working on when they were ambushed by the undead. That person was none other than George A. Romero, who's overpowered by zombies during the intro cutscene and turned into one himself. Throughout the game, he wanders the map with a stage light in hand and loads of one-liners. If you make Romero mad, he'll fly into a rage, sprinting after you with his weapon of choice. All in all, there's not a single soul more fitting to appear in a Call of Duty map than him.

Romero is single-handedly responsible for crafting the modern image of a zombie through revolutionary films like Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. Even years after his death in 2017, he continues to inspire the horror genre and those working within it. Zombies simply wouldn't exist without R??omero, so it's only right that the visionary director was included in what has become one of the mode's most beloved maps.

For those unaware, Black Ops 4's Tag Der Toten, a Call of the Dead reimagining, features Romero's signature glasses sitting on a table. This is both a fun Call of the Dead Easte???r egg and a tribute to the man who paved the way.

Some folks would have you believe that adding a focus on vehicles somehow makes this chapter of Fortnite the worst yet. There's a lot of talk that Epic has forgotten what Fortnite is, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It's some fans, I think, that have forgotten what Fortnite is supposed to be. Wrecked has been, by far, the bes??t Fortnite I've played to ?date.

Not everyone wants cars to be nerfed

Did Ninja quit the game again this season? Well, don't worry! He'll flip a coin to decide if he's back next season or not. Sure, the sweatiest players on Twitch might be complaining about changes. The rest of us seem to understand t?hat this season rules. This is a game about change, and its the job of players to adapt. You'll see tons of repl?ies like this on posts that don't even have anything to do with the vehicles.

How to deal with enemy cars

The fact is, every season of Fortnite has a theme, and that always means big changes. This is a game about having an open toybox to play with. That means new toys are coming a?nd going all the time. Fewer cars have killed me so far this season than Water bending in any given play session last season. Cars aren't broken, far from it. There are several strategies when dealing with them, and if people were more patient, they'd find that out.

The Nitro-powered rocket fists are perhaps the best weapon for dealing with cars. Not only can they knock a car off track, or even flip it into the air, but they're great for maneuv?ering. A lot of people complain about Nitro boosting cars, but they seem to forget that they can also boost themselves. Doing so gives you a hell of a speed and endurance buff to make dodging cars and their weapons an absolute breeze. Combine those two, and you're a car-smashing, air-dashing machine. Can you honestly tell me that anyth??ing about that sounds "unfun?"

Nevermind that cars have been in Fortnite forever. When I started back in Chapter 3, cars had parts you could equip to them. The only ??thing missing were the weapons. In reality, those vehicle weapons aren't much better than having your teammates gun out the window anyway. But after Chapter 3, vehicles became boring. Even just the week before this chapter, I was talking to my squad about how much we missed throwing off-road whee?ls and cattle-catchers to cars. We missed the chance for customization and taking ownership of vehicles. It was a ton of fun in Chapter 3, and I'm so, so glad it's back and better in Chapter 5.

If you want some more ideas on how to counter this new car meta, allow me to lend a few ideas. Are you running solo? If so, that means other solo people in a car need someone to operate their turrets. My experience is that hopping into an enemy car makes for fun bedfellows. Nobody seems to mind me helping take the ??gun to mow down our mutual enemies on the island.

Cars are the best distraction

I've found that, more often than not, cars are a better distraction than a weapon. One of my squadmates loves hopping out of a vehicle and taking a good vantage??? point. While I drive around to catch enemy fire, he picks them off from a short distance. In the screenshot here, you can see me pulling up in my sweet boss-car that I stole. While the bus's owner was firing a heavy turret at me driving, my squadmate snuck up from behind. A couple magnum rounds later, and we have a new bus to add to our collection. (Then our other squadmate accidentally blew it up by hitting it with his car! Chaos!)

Dealing with cars is better with certain guns. The Huntress DMR is ideal for sniping drivers. The Magnum ?is a good tool for busting tires and doing massive damage to the vehicle. The rocket-bow is the best weapon?? for doing a great amount of damage and throwing cars off course. Again, all of that combined with Nitro works great. I would like to, again, recommend having a set of Nitro fists on hand at all times.

Epic Games did announce that they're un-vaulting Boogie Bombs, which ??should help in the meantime. I'm curious if an unintended side effect will be boogie-bombing people to limit their movement and then hitting them with your car. It sounds like the EMP grenades from previous seasons will also be showing up soon, which will probably do a lot to ruin the car meta altogether. It'll be a shame that Epic listens to the sweaty players who can't adapt to change. So many of us are having a great time running into one another at full speed, then rocket-punching each other into oblivion.

There have been some controversial Fortnite seasons throughout the years, but perhaps none have caused as much controversy as Chapter 5, Season 3: Wrecked. After spending some time with this patch, I think it's by far the worst that Epic has ever dropped, losing sight of what even made Fortnite enjoyable in the first place.

Think back to your favorite Fortnite memories. How many involve getting run over by a guy in a vehicle? I know that that number is zero for me, and I'd guess for many of you, it's the same. Yet for some reason, Epic has decided that Season 3: Wrecked should be all about the cars.

In truth, that's what every single match I've played has been so far. Sooner or later, I hear the roar of a vehicle speeding my way, and I spend my time jumping and running out of its way, trying to take potshots at the driver whenever I can. Inev??itably, you have two options: Get flattened by your opponent, or get in a c??ar yourself and fight fire with fire.

Why is this happening? Well, with Season 3's Mad Max-esque Wrecked theme, ther??e are more vehicles than ever before on the map. That's not all though, as Epic? has introduced even more vehicle mods to make them more dangerous than ever, from Machine Gun Turrets to Spiked Bumpers that send you flying and deal huge damage if you get hit by them.

Then, for a final added bonus, the new Nitro barrels can give your car an extra speed boost, explosive power when ramming opponents, and a buff to any mod you have attached. It's?? no wonder then that players are skipping guns and going straight to vehicles—they're the best weapon in the game right now.

That shouldn't be what Fortnite is about though. At its best, Fortnite gives you multiple ways to play, with items that lend themselves to different playstyles. Yes, I would complain when I got sniped by a distant enemy, but at least I understood that not everybody is a "run-and-gunner" like me. For the past week, I've spent match after match being squished by cars over and over again, to the point that I don't want to? play the game for the rest of the season.

This season of Fortnite is reminiscent of the horrible days of the X-4 Stormwing plane or the B.R.U.T.E mech suit, which both bombed their way through anyone and everyone in their path. During those times, guns were essentially useless too, and anyon??e who didn't find a plane early or get ??themselves locked into a mech suit were at such a disadvantage that you might as well have quit to the lobby yourself.

There is no enjoyable gunplay in Season 3 because you rarely face enemies on foot. The map changes are irrelevant because half the player base spends their time driving around, avoiding the buildings. I'm not saying there isn't room for vehicles in Fortnite, but making them all-pow?erful killi?ng machines is too far in the wrong direction.

This season doesn't feel like Fortnite at all, it almost feels like a weird game of Grand Theft Auto when you would unlock a tank and just destroy everything and everyone in your path. And look, I get it, for some people that sounds like fun, but it's different when the people you're blowing up are actual players, not NPCs. Getting squashed, shot, and blown to smithereens by an opponent in an armored vehicle is not battle royale gameplay, and it actively makes the g??ame unfair. Yes, your odds are often dictated by the guns you find, but if you land beside a vehi??cle and don't get it first, you have no hope of survival at all, and when that happens game after game, it's hard to keep playing.

It's not just me who feels this way, either. Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has already quit Fortnite for this season, saying: "If I was a five-year-old that still loved cool cars I would be having the time of my life. ?I'm a 32-year-old grown man who likes to fucking shoot things in video games, and now I have to drive a vehic?le around and pray that I run into people that have a worse vehicle than me."

None of this feels like Fortnite, and if it was an entirely different game, I wouldn't play it again. Epic should be praised for its creativity and the willingness to try new things, but it should always feel like Fortnite. Whe??n you get off that path, it's time to look back and readjust, and I believe that's where the developer finds itself right now.

With the season themed around this Mad Max-esque vehicular warfare, presumably due to the timely release of Furiosa, there's little chance that Epic will decide to remove the cars entirely. I just hope that Epic goes back to basics when Chapter 5, Season 4 rolls around, because this is, by far, the least fun that Fortnite has ever been.

Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3 is here, bring a new Battle Pass and crossovers including Magneto from X-Men and Fallout's Power Armor. Of ??course, a new season also means new Quests, one of which needs you to pass through a Flaming Boost Hoop.

These hoops aren't marked on the map for you, but there i?s a location th?at has two of them, making it the ideal place to complete this challenge.

Easiest way to pass through Flaming Boost Hoops in Fortnite

If you want to complete this challenge as efficiently as possible, then you should head to the Nitrodome POI in the south of the island. That's becaus?e there are two Flaming Boost Hoops, ?one on either side of the dome that you can pass through.

To complete the challenge, you need to get in a vehicle and drive through the Hoop. That's another reason why Nitrodome is a great place to land, as it has four vehicle spawns, one in?? each corner, that you can jump into and drive away.

Once you've driven through it, it will count towards your challenge completion. The fact that there are two of these Hoops means that you can knock it off really quick,? as you can speed through one, turn around, and then do the other.

Completing this ch??allenge will earn you 10,000 XP, which is a nice reward as you start to level up your Battle Pass.

There's no shortage of crossovers in Fortnite, we know that for sure. While we weren't expecting the arrival of Magneto to Fortnite, we already knew that a Fallout event was on ??the way, and now we know that Power Armor is something we can a??cquire.

How to unlock Fallout's Power Armor in Fortnite

To unlock Fallout's Power Armor, you'll need to purchase the Season 3 Battle Pass. That's because the Power Armor ??isn't a vehicle in-game, but rather a skin?? you can wear all the time.

To unlock the Power Armor we all know and leave, reach Level 5??4 in the Battle Pass.

That's not all though, as there is a sp??ecial edition of the T-60 Power Armor named "Hot Rod" that has red paint and black flames on it. It's very cool, and can be unlocked at Level 62.

There are plenty of other Fallout cosme?tics to unlock in the Battle Pass too, incl?uding a Pip-Boy back bling, and a Vault Boy emblem.

How to unlock Wasteland Magneto in Fortnite

Fortnite players will be able to unlock Wasteland Magneto by completing Battle Pass Quests in July.

Unfortunately, we don't have too many details beyond that, ??as Epic hasn't given us an exact release date, or any clues regarding what those challenges will entail. This means that even if you reach the max level in the Season 3 Battle Pass, you'll still not unlock the skin auto??matically.

It does make sense that Magneto would arrive in July though, with Deadpool & Wolverine releasing in cinemas on July 26. We've also seen leakers suggest that an Item Shop tab that revolves around the ultra-popular Disney+ cartoon X-Men '97 ??is com??ing, so I would expect both to drop simultaneously.

As for what havoc Magneto will cause on the Fortnite island? Well, that remains to be seen. I don't expect he'll just quietly arrive though, so keep an eye out through the summer for some magnetic mischief coming?? our way.

As always, Epic Games has been hard at work putting together the Battle ??Pass, which this season sees Fortnite turn into a Mad Max-esque wasteland, with crazy vehicles that can be modified into true kill?ing machines.

Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass: All Tiers and cosmetics

The good news for Fallout fans is that you won't have to wait until the mid-season Battle Pass challenges drop to unlock the ?T-60 Power Armor, a?s it is included in the regular Battle Pass. Just play matches and grind Quests to earn XP, and you'll be able to get your hands on it.

It's also cool to see classic Fortnite skins get?? a Wastelands-themed update for this season, with Rust and Brite Bomber both getting gritty new looks to match the desolation of the new island.

Winning a game of Fortnite is never easy, but? some players are convinced that the game's Zero Build mode has gotten a whole lot harder, with players claiming it's be?en "miserable" and that they're getting "annihilated."

When Zero Build was introduced to Fortnite in March 2022, it provided a saf??e space for gamers w??ho didn't enjoy the building aspect of the game, or simply weren't very good at it. Like many, I ran to the mode and never looked back, and I don't think I've played a build game since.

While I definitely found the mode easier, some players have complained that Zero Build has suddenly become much more difficult, posting about it on the official Fortnite subreddit.

"In the last few days, the lobbies I am getting are significantly? harder," wrote Professional-Wish116. "I am guessing it's because I am getting better so being put in harder lobbies. Or is it just what it's like at the end of a season?"

They weren't alone in this feeling either, with Sweet-Cicada-6971 stating: "My experience is the exact same. Basically since yesterday every game feels like a tournament. People are trying so hard, every game I get blast?ed by TikTokers on Level 500, it's crazy," with YrsaAse saying their experience had been "miserable" and that they "weren't just losing" but getting "absolutely annihilated."

As for why this is happening, the resounding theory is that with Chapter 5, Season 3 starting on ?May 24, lots of players have returned to the game to rank up their battle passes before they expire. The influx of returni??ng players has then raised the quality of lobbies, making them harder.

Of course, it is possible that Epic Games have tweaked their matchmaking system, but no??thing has been announced by the developer so we can't be sure. We'll learn more over the next week though as lobbies settle post-update, and we may even hear from Epic if they have made chang?es.

Unfortunately, we don't know a lot about what's confirmed for the new Fortnite season just yet, but we do know for sure that a special Fallout crossover is coming, perfectly timed following the success of the Amazon Prime TV sho?w.

We also expect that a new Battle Bus will be added this week, as the old one got smashed to smithereens by a real-life monster truck this past weekend, and Fall Guys assets should finally arrive here too.

As for leaks, there have been rumors of Klombo, the Fortnite mascot, coming to the game's LEGO mode, and claims of both Pirates of the Caribbean and Fantastic Four crossovers. Tho??se are unconfirmed though, so take them ??with a pinch of salt.

We've seen Epic Games destroy plenty of buildings, vehicles, and even islands in Fortnite over the years, but the developer took things a step further by crushing a real-li??fe Battle Bus with a monster truck, teasi??ng that a new version would arrive in-game.

With Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3 set to release on Friday, May 24, we're already expecting plenty of new items and cosmetics, fueled by the announcement of the Fallout crossover. Nobody had mentioned a new Battle Bus, however, th?at s??eems to be on the horizon too.

In a clip tweeted out by the official Fortnite X account, you can see the B??attle Bus parked in the middle of the Monster Jam World Finals, which t?ook place on Saturday, May 18. We then see a giant monster truck fly over a jump and clear the purple vehicle, flipping over as it landed.

Unfortunately for the Battle Bus, however, there was no escape from destruction, with a second truck soaring over the jump and landing right on top of the modified school bus, crushing it like it wasn't even t?here. Awesome.

An awesome clip by its own merit, the caption with it was what got Fortnite fans' tongues wagging, reading: "Might be a new bus in town." With the Fallout crossover coming, many have speculated that it could be the return of the Armored Battle Bus from Chapter 3 to match the Power Armor seen in the game?? and A??mazon Prime show.

Of course, this could also have been just a cool thing that Epic decided to do, but having the re??lease date of the new season on the LED screens around the stadium seems like an obvious nod to a new update. What i??t'll look like remains unknown, but I for one can't wait to see it.
