Looking sharp, Spyro

Playstation Underground has released a new video, featuring 12 minutes of footage from the upcoming Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which remasters three of the fire-breathing marvel’s classic PlayStation adventures.

In the video, developer Toys for Bob show off gameplay from the second title in the compendium Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, which originally launched back in 1999. The Reignited Trilogy features ground-up𝔍 rebuilds of the 3D adventure titles, along with new visuals, sound and other cool, mo💞dern day tweaks to keep the games feeling as fresh as they did twenty years ago.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is pretty much a guaranteed success, sure to follow in the footsteps of the mega-selling Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as a nostalgia-tinged licence to print money. We’ll find out for sure come September 21, when Spyro Reignited Trilogy launches on PS4 and Xbox One.
