If you are having trouble making a loadout with Call of Duty’s new Kilo 141 assault rifle, you’re not alone.
Activision has confirmed there’s an issue with the Kilo 141 that’s preventing it from being added to loadouts in Black Ops 6 or Warzone, which is currently offline for 24 hours ahead of Verdansk’s return tomorrow.
The returning gun, which is free for all players to grab now as season three has launched in BO6 while Warzone preps for tomorrow, was a hugely popular weapon in Warzone’s early days and has been highly anticipate🦩d by players, so this current bug is qu🗹ite annoying.
Thankfully, the issue is being worked on by Treyarch and Activision who are aware of the issue, but it’s still a pain in the back for players looking to use the weapon and level it up ahead of Warzone tomorrow, or to use it on the new BO6 Zombies map, Shattered Veil.
Double XP and double weapon XP is currently live in BO6, so the weapon leveling process should go quickly once it’s available. But for now, players will have to use other new guns like the CR-56 AMAX or HDR in lieu of the Kilo for the time being.
Some players are reporting a workaround to get to use the Kilo 141, though. If you enter Warzone, then equip a Kilo 141 in your loadout, equip an optic scope, back out of Warzone, return to BO6 MP, and then you should b𝓡e🧜 able to add the Kilo to a loadout.
It appears that CoD is also having issues on Xbox itself at the time of writing, meaning a wide array of gamers are probably frustrated by what’s going on with the new season’s launch on top of not being able to play Warzone at all until tomorrow.
Update on April 2 at 1:38pm CT: Activision says the issue has been fixed.
“Players will need to relaunch Call of Duty and enter the Call of Duty: Warzone tile again to obtain access to the Kilo 141 in custom loadouts.”
