How to participate in Pokémon GO Raids

The process of taking part in these epic battles will be pretty much the same. You’ll need a Raid Pass to participate, and receive one for free on a daily basis. You can buy more passes by spending on microtransactions.

All raids always spawn as eggs in gyms, and you’ll need to reach the location to participate. If you can’t physically travel to it, the only alternative is to use a Remote Raid Pass. This item isn’t available for free, so you’ll have to spend some cash on it.

That’s pretty much all you need to participate in the raids. Unlike normal battles, Raids are strictly co-op experiences. This becomes even more valid if you’re trying to participate in a 5-star Raid. You’ll require at least 5-6 players with endgame setups to clear the challenge. Additionally, Remote Raid Pass users will do less damage, so that’s another key factor you should remember.
