Between December 16, 2023 and November 30, 2024 players of Death Stranding hav꧒e the opportunity to submit their in-game screenshots as part of Kojima Productions’ . Here’s how to enter and the rules you need to follow.
In celebration of reaching a massive 16 million active players of Death Stranding, the photo mod🐼e campaign will be running until November 30, 2024.
Every month, ten♓ player’s photos will be selected as a ‘shortlist’ which will then be voted on by staff at Kojima Productions. According to their decision, one will come out on top as the ‘photo of the month’. This winning photo will then be included in the official Kojima Productions calendar for 2025.
Each monthly winner will also win the c♋alendar itself, which makes for a pretty 𝄹cool talking point.
December’s theme: Rainbow
December held the theme of ‘Rainbow’, with thousands of entries being submitted via Twitter and Insꦿtagram. The winner for December was announced on January 10,ꦉ with Joseph (@JLunarTraveler) coming out on top with this entry:
January’s theme: Snowy Mountain
Players are invited to capture the snowy mountains of Death Stranding and submit their entry photos before January 25 for a chance to appear in next year’s calendar.
The picture used by Kojjima Productions (shown above) serves as a pretty decent example of the ki🌳nd of images the team are hoping to receive.&nbsﷺp;
Thousands have entered already this month and competition is fierce, with some truly incredible images be🧜ing su🔯bmitted.
How to enter
Players can submit their entry on either Twitter or Instagram using the follꦰowing hashtags:
- #DSPhotomodeCP_Jan
- #DeathStranding
Those wish♊ing to enter must also be following the Kojima Productions page on the platform they want to enter from, so that’s on Twitter or o🥃n Instagram.
All entries must fit the theme 🦩for the month or they will not be considered.
There are some specific rules that need to be followed. Here’s t🦂he moꦅst pertinent ones:
- UI must be disabled in screenshots and there must not be a frame or logos included
- Photos must not be edited using software outside of Death Stranding
- Photos should be of a 16:9 aspect ratio
- You must be 18 years or older to participate in the campaign
