Destiny 2 Insurmountable Sidearm – God Rolls and how to get

Mountains must be devoured one bite at a time.

Episode 2: Revenant of Destiny 2 has introduced a slew of vampire-slaying weapons. While I’m generally not a fan of sidearms, Insurmountable has caught my attention. Here’s where to find it and what rolls to chase.

How to get Insurmountable in Destiny 2

Insurmountable, like all of the other Revenant weapons, can be acquired by participating in seasonal events. At the time of this writing, these will be the two Onslaught modes found in The Last City. Additionally, it can be found via rank up rewards from Eido. To maximize this, I recommend equipping four pieces of the seasonal gear as they provide a rep gain bonus.

Destiny 2 Insurmountable God Rolls

PvE God Roll

If, like myself, you’re a fan of staring into the Void, then Insurmountable might just be the weapon to change your perception regarding sidearms. This Revenant sidearm goes to work with♛ Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds working in perfect harmony. As your foes are debuffed, fin💦al blows will grant you an overshield, letting you turn minions into resources.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling: Increases Range by +10.
  • Flared Magwell: Increases Reload Speed by +15 and Stability by +5.
  • Repulsor Brace: Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants a 45HP overshield.
  • Destabilizing Rounds: Final blows cause nearby targets to become volatile.
  • Masterworked Range: Increases Range by +10.

PvP God Roll

As for PvP, I’m not as fond of Insurmountable. It can work well in tight spaces, but there aren’t any traits that make it stand out. As such, we want to get one that works as more of an all-rounder. Increased range and a buff to other stats will make it at least competent.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling: Increases Range by +10.
  • Accurized Rounds: Increases Range by +10.
  • To the Pain: When this weapon is equipped, taking damage increases handling and aim assist until the weapon is stowed.
  • Desperate Measures: Weapon final blows grant bonus damage. Melee and grenade final blows grant a larger damage bonus that can stack.
  • Masterworked Range: Increases Range by +10.
