Every season, the meta makes quite a noticeable shift in Diablo 4, thanks to some adjustments and the gimmicks surrounding it. Now that we are in Season of Witcraft (Season 7), here is a tier list of t🐎he best classes.
Diablo 4 Season 7 tier list
B♉elow are the current classes in the game ranked overall. This will consider leveling, mobbing, bossing, and endgame activities like The Pit.
S-Tier
S-tier roles are those that have a good early game into a consistent endgame. It doesn’t quite mean they are Vanilla Spiritborn levels of strength, but𓃲 they have minimal♚ weaknesses.
Rogue
The Rogue is the biggest winner of this season, having very multiple viable builds for the early game that transition well into the endgame. This class typically flies under the radar when it comes to being overpowered, but with the new mechanics this season, most of the common builds for the Rogue are enhanced from the new Occ🥀ult system.
Thanks to this seasonal system, most of the strongest builds utilize the Preparation Specialization, which allows more frequent use of the Ultimat𒀰e abilities. This leads to new builds or enhanced builds that revolve around using ults without 💯having to always get god rolls for cooldowns.
A-Tier
The A-tier classes have a lot of strengths but some noticeable weaknesses. 💫Consider these are the more “fair” ones of the bunch.
Necromancer
The Necromancer has been riding stable ever since Season 4. They have a mix of a very strong leveling build into the endgame. Many builds you use in leveling stay consistentlജy strong, especially when you start having more frequent access to Uniques and above.
There’s a lot you can do with the🐟 Necromancer, especially now with the new builds feature and the ability to swap.
B-Tier
B-tier classes should not be written off as inferior. Some of the🦂 more fun classes are in ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthis tier. However, some big flaw prevents them from acting as consistently as the classes in higher tiers do. They need specific builds or have a rough transition between the early and late game.
Druid
The Druid is an interesting class because they’re slow burners. It takes a lot to get them going from level 1 tℱo 60, but once you get to the endgame stu𝓀ff with decent gear, they look like an S-Tier.
Popular builds like Pulverize, Lightning Storm, Hurricane, or Boulder remain strong. Opposite to weaker c🌱lasses, they deal some of the largest damage numbers in the game with a more straight﷽forward setup.
Spiritborn
The nerfs for this class were justified, having significantly faster clearing times than every class in Diablo 4. The Spiriꦕtborn still holds its own, with many of its builds from last seaso෴n still being very viable.
Quill Volley is still one of the best builds for the class, with Razor Wings, Poison Thorns, and Touch of Death not too far behind. In short, the class is still lots of fun♐ and really strong, but just more honest.
Barbarian
The Barbarian has been toned down quite a bit since the beginning of the game—until now. They hav🍷🎶e some versatile early-game builds that transition nicely into the mid and endgame, but half the builds are decent, and some are borderline overpowered.
While we’re ranking Barbarian in second to last of all six classes in Diablo 4, they’re still quite strong in their own right. It’s just that the same bui♒lds that have been strong in previous seasons are still viable, while there isn’t much else that can outshine HoTA, Whirlwind, or Upheaval builds.
Sorcerer
The Sorcerer class has alw﷽ays been the best for leveling builds. They hav𝐆e the fastest mobbing potential and decent bossing.
However, when it comes to the Torment difficulties, their builds star🐻t becoming too gear-dependent. On top of that, almost every Sorcerer build is the same, with some slight variation. Almost every viable build requires you 🎶to have The Ring of Starless Skies or some other Mythic Unique.
The only build, which has since been ner🐼fed from previous seasons, was the Lightning Spear build, knocking the Sorcerer to be the weakest class.
Don’t feel bad if you’re using what we consider the best or the worst in this tier list. It’s just to give you an understanding of where each class is right now and the potential they can unlock with the more hours you grind into Diablo 4.
