Do you need to beat Pokemon Scarlet & Violet to access The Teal Mask?

The requirements are quite low

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have finally received The Teal Mask expansion as the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC bundle. While new content like this typically appeals to fans🔥 who have already finished the game, new pl♛ayers may want to get in on the fun too. Fortunately, we have some good news for those who haven’t quite finished the main game just yet.

Even if you haven’t beat Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you can still check out the DLC if you’ve purchased it. For those just starting out, make your way through the opening until you reach the Academy. Here you’ll see Arven, Nemona, and a person who goes by Cassiopeia, all of who eventually give you quests to follow. On꧋ce this introduction wraps up, Jaqc will give you a call and let you know about a new program the school is hosting. Return to the academy and talk to the woman Briar inside near the entrance.

🐠For everyone past this p🎃oint, Jaqc will simply call you as soon as you load your file. Just fly back to the Academy and you can get started on your new adventure.

What level do I need to be for The Teal Mask?

Fortunately, The Teal Mask employs some level scaling, so both beginners and veterans alike can enter it. In other words, you won’t find Pokemon that are too strong for you. Check out our guide here to find out more 🧸about this.

That said, The Teal Mask won’t go anywhere once you’ve purchased it. Feel free to enter the new content right away or beat Scarlet & Violet first. The choice is yours.
