Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Reflect Ability Items: On, Off, and Auto, Explained

To put it simply, Reflect Ability Items will dictate whether or not your equipped items will take effect during your matches in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. The setting will also filter which players you will face. For example, if you set it to Off, you will only fight against opponents not using Ability Items, while those who pick Auto will match their opponent’s settings. To recap, here’s a detailed look at what each Reflect Ability Items option does in Sparking Zero:

  • On: Will enable all of your equipped items. You will only match with players sharing the setting.
  • Off: Will disable your Ability Items. You will also only match with players not using their items.
  • Auto: Will match your opponent’s chosen settings (The best setting for those simply looking to play as much as possible). If in a match against another Auto player, the setting seems to go to Off by default.

What option should you choose?

Although enabling the use of items will allow you to bring the most out of your chosen character or team, I believe Off to be the best Reflect Ability Items setting when climbing the ranks. The reason? Sparking Zero is not a competitive game, which means it is also highly unbalanced character-wise. Trust me, if you already hate facing the standard versions of Super Vegito, Jiren, and Gogeta (Super), you don’t even want to imagine what they look like fully geared up.

Now that you know what each option does in the game, as well as how to fine-tune your online experience, don’t forget to also check out how to Grab in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
