It was unclear whether Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the upcoming fighting game, would include๊ local multiplayer. Those rumors have now been seemingly laid to bed, as the local multiplayer gameplay functionality was spotted by Twitter/X user SLOplays on the updated PS Store listing of the game.
The rumors about local multiplayer’s absence arose when the PlayStation and Steam pages l🧸isted it as a single-player game only with no mention of offline multiplayer. It was also earlier that game producer Jun Furutani said that local split-screen will not be present due to “issues relating to Sony and Microsof♋t.”
If the store page is believed, it looks like local multiplayer will be in the cards. Local multiplayer has been a staple mode in fighting games, and its absence would✅ have been felt among fans.
