Survey asks if customers would like it (no sh*t)
According to a customer survey being sent to SimCity players and , Electronic Arts is thinking about adding an offline mode to the recently released game — a mode EA said couldn’t be done because of reasons. It’s almost as if they were lying to justify a bullshit trend or something.
The survey lists several features, including a “classic mode” which allows you to, “In offline or online mode, play a single, fully functioning city using cheats and unlocks that allow you to create your perfect city.” Basically, the SimCity that SimCity players would expect when buying SimCity to play SimCity.
As you might expect, the poll also gauges interest in a slew of expansion and downloadab𒁃le✅ content additions, including a package that would add SuperScrapers, clean energy cities and, fittingly, green-based economies. Screens of the entire survey , for your salty perusal.
I’ll reserve my truly, truly smug attitude for whenever an offline mode is officially confirmed. I’m looking forward to it, too. It’s going to be smarmiest I’ve ever been … for at least two weeks.
