Capcom’s surprise dino-battling hit features a rather well-balanced roster of suits. They all work well and, perhaps more importantly, are fun to play. Still, there will always be that one suit t🌞hat does the job a little better than the others.
The following lis🍎t will help readers pick the best suit for e🃏ach of the three different roles.
Assault
03. Vigilant
Though he looks like he came straight out of Destiny 2 with the special mission of helping humanity against the Dino scourge in Exoprimal, he doesn’t do much.
It’s seemingly impossible to have a team-based shooter without a sniper class, but snipers work great against select enemies, not so much against massive waves of reptiles.
Vigilant works for PVP as he can deal good damage to players, but he’s unsurprisingly underwhelming in PVE scenarios.

02. Barrage
Barrage has the highest damage output in the game. That makes sense, as he’s the demolition expert around these parts. Unlike what you’d expect from the regular “blow stuff up” guy, however, Barrage isn’t a big buff tank of a man, but rather a highly mobile unit.
Barrage deals tons of damage, but he also moves like a madman. Taking some notes from the Quake ser♎ies, Barrage can use his own explosives not just to obliterꩲate enemies, but also to propel himself over them or to dodge their attacks. Yeah, you read that right. This exosuit can somehow use explosions to avoid getting exploded by what I assume are even more dangerous explosions.
Barrage actually has a higher skill ceiling than our number on꧋e assault pick. Still, once you master his craft, he provides arguably the most fun experience ℱyou can get out of this game.
01. Deadeye
This might sound disappointing, as Deadeye is basically the Exoprimal world’s version of a regular Call Of Duty loadout, but please hear us out. Deadeye is solid, versatile, and come on, there’s a reason there are millions of people are still playing Call Of Duty nowadays.
His weapon is just a regular assault rifle, but he comes equipped with a bunch of cool abilities that give him the edge. Also, his Overdrive ability🃏 will deal massive amounts of damage in either PVE or PVP scenarios.
Also, Deadeye is just much easier to master than Barrage or any other suit in the game, so there’s that. We can barely wait for the moment when Activision takes note and decides to come up with a Call Of Duty mode featuring dinosaurs.
Tank
03. Roadblock
When you try to picture a tank in real life, you’ll likely think about an armored vehicle with a canon. When you picture a video game tank, you’ll probably think of a huge dude brandishing an even larger shield. You’ll be picturing someone similar to Braum from League Of Legends or Reinhardt from Overwatch. Roadblock is that kind of pure tank.
Roadblock is the go-to pick if you want to🍌 protect your teamꦇmates from enemy fire.
Still, his versatility leaves a lot to be desired due to a lack of offensive options. Even though defense is the name of Roadblock’s game, he’s vulnerable to opponents with high damage output when he doesn’t have an equally powerful team.
02. Murasame
If you want a more versatile tank, you can go with 🦋Murasame instead. It features great defense as well as actual offensive op♏tions.
Much like my top pick for the tank class, Murasame can both defend and offend, but you need to know that he’s much harder to master.
If you think you can catch bullets with a samurai sword as easily as a mid-tier player with a shield could, there’s no reason to avoid picking this beast.
01. Krieger
Krieger is by far the best tank in the game because he’s as good at taking damage as he is at dishing it out. He’s so well-rounded that he almost feels like a Tank-Assault hybrid.
Whereas Roadblock uses ဣa huge shield to protect himself and his team, Krieger protects everyone with a gigantic gun — that he uses not to deflect enemy fire, but to obliterate all enemies before they come close.
And that’s not to say that Krieger doesn’t have a shield. It does have one, and it even has other options that literally leave its enemies stunned. Krieger isn’t a one-man army — it’s a one-man armada. Krieger will excel in either PVE or PVP scenarios, and that’s the mark of a top-tier Exoprimal suit.
Support
03. Skywave
In the right team comp, Skywave can do wonders, but it makes for an underwhelming solo pick. This support class naturally isn’t great when it comes to damage, but it’s also not good at healing its team.
Skywave is good at slowing down or even straight-up stopping the enemies, but that’s not as good as the more definitive solution of just killing them off.
02. Witchdoctor
This suit allows for a good balance between helping your team and being an abso𒁏lute nuisance to your opponents.
On the offensive side, it’s capable of dealing AOE damage, as well as dealing AOE stuns.
On the support side, Witchdoctor players will improve their own team’s efficacy by continuously healing and boosting their speed.
The Witchdoctor’s only problem is how much of an easy target it provides for enemy assault suits considering its low defense stats and limited offensive options.
01. Nimbus
Ju𓆏st like Krieger and Mura🅺same, Nimbus rocks because it crosses the line between its supposed class and the assault class.
This suit is great because it’s both the best at healing and is also great at dealing tons of damage in a fun and stylish way — and you know damn well that style is important.
