Fallout 4 is getting its big next-gen patch for PS5 and Xbox Series later this month

Long-awaited next-gen upgrades are finally coming.

For those who have an itch to jump back into Fallout 4 after watching the new show, Bethesda has lined up a new upd🍃ate at the perfect time.

On April 25, Fallout 4 will receive a on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The update introduces Performance and Quality Mode settings, stability improvements, increased resolutions, and support for 60 FPS. Previously, the RPG was capped at 30 FPS on next-gen consoles. Bethesda made sure not to leave out PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, as there will also be an updaꩵte with stability improvements and login and quest fixes for la☂st-gen consoles.

As for PC, there is also an update that includes widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, and fixes to the Creation Kit and other quest updates. Bethesda also confirmed that Fallout 4 will be available to purchase on the Epic Games Store, and will also be Steam Deck verified. The devs didn’t stop at performance improvements. The upcoming update also introduces a new quest called Enclave Remnants.

“Can you stop The Enclave from spreading their dangerous ideology and gaining a foothold in the Commonwealth?” Bethesda teased. Additionally, Fallout 4 will be getting previously released Creation Club content. Here is a full list of what’s coming:

  • Enclave Weapon Skins
  • Enclave Armor Skins
  • Tesla Cannon
  • Hellfire Power Armor
  • X-02 Power Armor
  • Heavy Incinerator

On top of that, the Makeshift Weapon Pack, includes new unconventional weapons such as a baseball launcher, a nail gun, and a piggy bank. Meanwhile, the Halloween Workshop introduces 38 new d🌳ecorations to add to your settlements.
