With the release of Dawntrail, Final Fantasy XIV have joined forces with Twitch to give play🎃ers an opportunity to get goodies, including not only the Chocorpokkur mount, but also other very helpful items as you dive back into leveling in a new expansion.
There’s not a lot to actively do to get all of the FFXIV Twitch Drops, but you’ll want to start now since some goals are a little lengthy.
What do you watch for the FFXIV Twitch Drops?
There are three different items up for grabs during the Twitch campaign, and to get them all you need to do is watch someone who has the ‘Viewer Rewards’ tag play Final Fantasy XIV for a maximum of si꧙x hours. Once you’ve watched for enough time to earn a reward, you’ll receive a code to your Twitch inbox.
You’ll need to actively be watching, though. Playing a stream in a different tab or in the background doesn’t count. I’m not quite sure how Twitch knows when you’re paying attention, but clearly they do. With that said, if you’re just getting into Dawntrail and want to avoid spoilers🍌, it might be best toꦫ wait a while before you try to get these rewards.
The campaignꦉ will run until July 29, so if you want to get through the MSQ yourself before watching someone el🧸se do the same, you have plenty of time to do so.
How to get every FFXIV Twitch campaign reward
One hour watched – EXP boost meal set
Included in this meal set are 10 Buttery Mogbiscuits and 10 Fat Choco Chocos. Both of these meals will boost EXP gain by 4%, rather than the regular 3% of other meals. It goes without saying that Dawntrail has brought a new level cap, so if you’re looking to level fast, y🐲ou’re going to want these.
Three hours watched – 10 Aetheryte Tickets
These tickets will grant you free telep🃏ortation to any Aetheryte, regardless of how far the destination may be. They’re incredibly useful, especially in the beginning of a new expansion, as those Teleportation costs can soon add up.
Six hours watched – Chocorpokkur Whistle
This moun♍t has previously only been available as part of a Lawson collaboration in Japan and the Butterfinger collaboration in North America, so this is the first time it is available to players in the EU or Oceania.
How to claim FFXIV Twitch campaign rewards
Once you’ve clocked enough viewing time on Twitch, you’ll receive a message to your inbox stating that you’ve earned a reward. A💃fter this, you can head to yo𝄹ur Drops & Rewards page, and click redeem under the item to be taken directly to the MogStation. Paste the code into the code section, and you’ll be able to choose which character receives the reward.
Then all you have to do is wai♕t for the it🔯em to show up in your in-game Mailbox.
