FFXIV x War of the Visions collaboration announced for December

The best of both worlds

As part of the announcements at the end of the Live Letter on November 1, Final Fantasy XIV has revealed that it will once again collaborate with mobile game War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius to bring new items into both games.

Whereas previously, only War of the Visions benefitted from receiving Visions Cards of familiar FFXIV characters like Y’shtola, this 🐎time around, both games will receive items from each other.

As part of the collaboration event, which is scheduled to take place at some point during December, Final Fantasy XIV players will be able to get their hands on a couple of new glamour sets. Sadly, these won’t come from any kind of in-game event quest, but they will be available for all players on the FFXIV Online Store.

For who play as a male character, there will be the Mont (King of Leonis) set, complete with fur collar, red cape, and rather shiny boots. For those looking for something more feminine, the Machérie (Queen of Hourne𒁃) set will be available to purchase. The set features a white and red dress, w⛎hich is quite similar to some previous White Mage artifact gear, and long boots.

It’s unknown as of yet how much these glamour sets will cost, whether they’ll be gender-locked, or if they will be dyeable. If they follow the same pa🅘ttern as previous character-s🍌pecific sets, the likelihood of being able to change their colors is slim, but I choose to live in hope.

For players of the mobile game War of the Visions, some all-new Dawntrail Visions Cards will be available. The images shown are of Thancred and Y’shtola, who were available during the previous collabor🐓at♏ion event, so it’s uncertain whether just the cards look different or if new characters will be involved.
