Genshin Impact roadmap and update schedule 2024

How long until Natlan?

Genshin Impact receives a version update every six weeks like clockwork. Barring unusual circumstances, we should be able to predict Genshin’s updat🔴e schedule for 2024. Let’s s🦩ee what that looks like.

Genshin Impact version update schedule

Each𒆙 version is six weeks long, with updates happening on Wednesdays in China (usually𒊎 Tuesday evenings for most Americans).

We don’t know how many 4.X patches the🐎re will be, but previous versions went up to 2.8 and 3.8 before rolling over to the next whole number. From this, we can speculate that the 4.X patches will also go up to 4.8, but things could turn out otherwise.

When is Natlan coming to Genshin Impact?

We can expect Natlan, the nation of Pyro, to be explorable in Version 5.0 of Genshin Impact. We don’t know how many Fontaine patches there will be, so the exact date for when Version 5.0 will drop is up in the air. If there are exactly eight Fontaine patches, then we can expect Natlan on August 28, 2024. If not, though, I would still predict Natlan to debut sometime in the late summer or early fall.

Either way, we’ve still got several Fontaine patches to enjoy before Natlan arrives. It looks like Xianyun and Gaming will be the first new characters to come to Genshin in 2024, with many more on the way. I wish everyone good luck with their pulls in the new year and a very happy Lantern Rite!
