Grand Theft Auto V‘s next-gen versions are due out this month, and Rockstar has laid out what to expect from the new iterations. In a , Rockstar dives into what features the next-gen console versions of Grand Theft Auto V will have.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will support three graphics settings, depending on which areas players want to prioritize. Fidelity Mode supports 4K native resolution with ray trac💛ing and 30 FPS on PS5 and Series X, while Xbox Series S uses upsca♑led 4K.

Performance Mode targets 60 FPS at an upscaled 4K for the two more powerful consoles, while Series S supports 1080p at 60 FPS. And ꧟bo♉th PS5 and Xbox Series X will have Performance RT, a hybrid of the two that targets 60 FPS with upscaled 4K and ray tracing.

Alongside the resolution and frame rate bumps, the next-gen versions of Grand Theft Auto V also have general improvements to visuals. A higher population and traffic variety, more flora, improved lighting and water reflections, better anti🔯-aliasiꦑng, and more are part of the update. Also, as with most next-gen updates, faster load times.

The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller will also have some special haptic feedback options and Adaptive Trigger features. 📖So yes, from explosions to the rumble of the road, it will feel like Los Santos is in the DualSense.

GTA Online is also getting its own standalone version on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS5 players will be able to get it for free for the first three months after launch.
