Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions launches on Nintendo Switch this November

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions already debuted worldwide on multiple platforms, but the competitive wizard game still lacked a Nintendo Switch version. After a little waiting𒆙, we finally have a release date for the Nintendo console.

Quidditch Champions releases on Nintendo Switch on November 8, 2024. This is exactly two months after it launched for other platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox ꧑🌳Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.

Fortunately, Switch owners who want to try the new Quidditch game won’t have to wait much longer. The release schedule falls perfectly in line with Unbroken Studios’ roadmap for Quidditch Champions in 2024. While a November launch means you could miss out on Halloween event rewards, there’s still some good news, as things should be up and running before the winter event later this year.

Speaking of the roadmap, there’s still more planned for Quidditch Champions later this year. This includes Season 1, a Hogwarts Legacy-themed event, a new game mode, and much more. As for what’s already there, Quidditch Champions offers full cross-play and cross-progression support, so playing this on the go won’t be a problem at all.

On other platforms where the Harry Potter game is live, , but playercount numbers are a common concern among fans. Harry Potter is a major franchise, but the Quidditch Champions concurrent playercount on Steam hasn’t been that impressive. According to , its all-time peak hit 6,574 players, and at the time of writing, only 945 players were playing.
