Much ado has been made of Bayonetta ‘s sucky performance on the PlayStation 3. Mostly by me, because it’s easy to wind people up about that sort of thing. When Sega chose to first show the hot Platinum Games title on a PS3, the reaction was not exactly positive, with the frame rate issues providing a rather large bone of contention.
Well, someone decided to capture more recent footage of Bayonetta on the PS3, with some video caught from the Tokyo Game Show floor. From the looks of the video, it seems Sega has managed to iron over the problems and the PS3 port appears to be running quite smoothly indeed. Good job too. This game looks super promising, and if it’s as great as I think it’ll be, everyone should be able to get their hands on it.
Check out the vid and let us see what you think. I’ve also just managed to go an entire Bayonetta story without referencing my penis.
Oh.
[Thanks, August]
