The latest adventure in Hyrule is Echoes of Wisdom, where you take the reins as Princess Zelda to save the land from the mysterious rifts popping up and taking citizens, including Link. The classic 2D top-down gameplay returns for this game, along with plenty of other nods to older Zelda games for fans.
However, you might be on the fence about picking up a copy if you’re busy and don’t know how much time it takes to finish the game. If you need to know how long it takes to beat The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, we’re here to give you all the answers.
How long does it take to finish Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom?
A typical playthrough for Echoes of Wisdom should take you anywhere between 15 to 20 hours to finish. This is just for the main storyline quests, including the eight dungeonsܫ across Hyrule.
In this time you’ll be able to complete all the main quests, explore the entire map of Hyrule, and do a ✱few side quests. If you don’t plan on doing any side quests or collecting all the heart pieces, you can even knock this time down to about 12 hours.
However, this time does not take into account the various side quests and bonus dungeons you can take on. If your goal is to finish the game 100%, then plan the game to take around 30 to 35 hours. This includes collecting all the heart pieces, Might Crystals, accessorie⛦s, and clothing that Zelda can adorn herself with.
There’s far more to see and do in Hyrule than just the main quests. Side quests are all over the 🌊place, and you can pick them up from any of the various towns by talking to the people who live there. Echoes, the main mechanic of the game, can be picked up as well, and collecting all 161 will take some time. There are also more rifts than just the large ones you’ll need to clear during the story, so keep an eye out for those. These smaller rifts aren’t necessary, but they do reward you with power for Tri.
While these times are typical for most players, everyone will play the game at their own pace. Since Echoes of Wisdom gives players a lot of freedom in how they solve puzzles and defeat monsters, it’s not unlikely for players to have varying completion times, with some even lower t꧒han 12 hours.
