The Brute Wyvern Quematrice ﷽dragons around its long tail, which is also used to ignite the flammable substance it drops on the ground as it walks along. The main defensive strategy for taking on the Quematrice is to watch for how much of the flammable material is dropping around the area. The Quematrice primarily uses its tail to attack, which can be easily avoided. However, if the tail strikes the flammable material, it will ignite all of it, which📖 can quickly turn the surrounding area into a tinderbox.

The Quematrice tail is one of the two breakable points on the monster but is also severable. You should certainly take the opportunity to sever it by focusing your attacks on the tail as doing so will not only get you extra materials but will make the Quematrice much weaker as it won’t be able to attack with the tail nor ignite the flammable material it drops. Once you’ve severed the Quematrice’s tail, focus on its neck area which is the weak point of this monster.

The other breakable part alongside the tail is the head of the Quematrice. Therefore, once you’ve severed the tail, focus on the head area until it breaks before targeting the weak point of the neck.

In terms of Elemental Attacks, the Quematrice is wea𒆙k to Water and can be affected by Flash Pods, Shock Traps, and Pitfall Traps. Sonic Bombs are not effective against the Quematrice.
