How to complete Chapter 1 of the DTI Valentines Day Quest

The latest update for Dress to Impress on Roblox is finally here: the massive Valentine’s Day update. This event not only brings tons of new items to dress up with, new DTI codes to use, a🌄nd new themes but also a new chapter in the Lana lore with the V-Day Quest.

You know the drill by this point: there are chapters you’ll need to play through to complete the 𓂃quest, and ♌for your hard work, you’ll unlock an exclusive Valentine’s Day-themed outfit. Let’s begin by walking through Chapter One.

How to start the Valentine’s Day Quest in DTI

To begin the quest, you can enter t♈he swirling pink portal in the lobby. It will ask if you want to join the Valentine’s Day Quest, and all you need to do is click yes, and you’ll be transported to the event server.

You can also directly choose 🧸the event server in the server options menu, which is the button along the bottom left of the screen with the 𒅌pink heart and silver gears. It’s right next to the camera button.

Once you’re in the serverᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ, which is a tunnel o🅺f love, walk over to the Chapter One swan boats, where you can choose to play with up to six other players. It’s up to you if you want to play co-op or fly solo.

DTI Valentine’s Day Chapter One Walkthrough

You’ll kick things off with a cutscene of Cupid needing your help to get a special couple together this Valentine’s Day: Lana and Nurse Julie. Head to the gate in the courtyard, and you’ll finally meet the man himself. You’ll then walk through his mansion to the potion room, where you’ll need to put together some love potions.

Walk up to any of the cauldrons, and you𝐆’ll need to memorize the correct two ingredients: a liquid base and a dry base. Simply choose the correct ingredients, and then drag the jewel across the bar in the directions the arrows point. This le🧸ts you shake up the bottles and stir the cauldron.

You’ll then bring the finished love potion to the main cauldron at the back of the room and pour it in. This will fill up the bar on the left side of your screen. You’ll need to finish and pour a few love potions to fill up the bar completely, so simply walk to an🦹y of the other cauldrons to make more potions. Any of the cauldrons work for this quest.ꦐ Be quick, though, since you only have four minutes to do this.

Once the bar is filled up, it’s time for target practice. Head through the portal that spawns, and you’ll be taken outside, where you will need to aim and shoot balloons to fill up the progress bar by holding down your cursor and aiming. You’ll have an൩other time limit, in which you’ll need to rack up 250 points🍨 in four minutes.

There will be both pink and gold balloons. Pink balloons are worth 10 points, and gold balloons are worth 25. Prioritize the gold balloons since they don’t move any faster than the pink ones, so they’re just as easy to hit but grant more points.

Since the balloons are moving targets, I recommend aiming slightly ahead of them, where they will be in a second or two. This will give the arrow time to reach them. You’ll see the progress bar fill up on the left side of the screen as you pop more balloons and earn more points.

After you’ve got enough points, you’re almost finished with Chapter One. You just need to🍌 open the Fortress Portal, which you can do by hitting and popping a final gold balloon. T💯his works the same way as the training, but this balloon moves a bit faster.

Walk forward in the courtyard until you’re at a closer distance. This balloon, as mentioned, moves quicker and in a larger pattern. You’ve got unlimited arrows and no time limit, so just keep trying until you get it right. Again, aim slightly ahead of the balloon for the best chance to hit it.

Once you’ve hit it, though, the Fortress Portal will open. You’ve successfully completed Chapter One! Head thro🎉ugh the portal to begin Chapter Two, which is much darker and 😼spookier.
