The power of friendship

Nikki is nothing if she’s not incredibly helpful to the residents of Miraland. She’s been helping everyone she’s met since she first arrived in the strange new land, and now the children are in need of some assistance.

Befo𒐪re you can complete “Friendship is Bubbling,” you’ll need to have completed a rather long list of prerequisites. Thankfully, all of the following are pretty easy to comple👍te:

  1. Complete the main story quest “Go to the Dream Warehouse”
  2. Complete the Shining Wish event quest “Good Decor, Bad Decor”
  3. Complete the Shining Wish event quest “Save the Wishing Nebula”
  4. Complete the Shining Wish event quest “Truth and Celebration”
  5. Complete the Lucky Fishing Day event quest “Thanks, Fish Knight!”

Once yo💯u’ve completed this chain of quests, you can move on to the main event꧒: “Friendship is Bubbling.”

To pick up “Friendship is Bubbling,” head to the Leisurely Anglers Florawish Branch Warp Spire, and then track down Pepo at the top of the stairs. As long as you’ve completed all of the quests laid out above, he will have a quest marker above his head and after talking to him, he’ll tell you that Polly is struggling to come up with a design for a dress based on the Pink Ribbon Eel

After offering your help, head off t🅠o find Polly. She can be found just southeast of the bridge that links the Leisurely Anglers Florawish Branch and Florawish itself. Note that she can only be found during the day, so you might have to wait at the location if you head there after dark.  I’ve marked her location🎃 on the map below:

After talk🏅ing to her, you’ll be able to enter into a Styling Challenge, and Polly wants an outfit that reminds her of “flowing ribbons”. The recommended tags for this challenge are Sweet and Cute, and you’𝓀ll need to get a rating of at least 10,000 to win.

What you wear during this Styling Contest will depend on what items you have available, and which items you’ve already upgraded using the Glow Up feature of the Pear Pal. It’s relatively easy to get past the 10,000 needed, especially when considering the additional score of Eureka. Remember, the outfit doesn’t have to look good, as long as it gives you points.

After competing in the Styling Challenge and coming out on top, you’ll immediately be pulled into a cutscene between Polly and Pepo, during which Momo will suggest that such a touching moment should be immortalized with a photo. Enter into Photo Mode, and🦄 then get the perfect shot, with or without Nikki present. As long as the two children are surrounded by orange boxes, the photo will count.

If you have an annoying hourglass present on screen that’s ruining your shot as I did, remember that yܫou can exit Photo Mode, interact with the hourglass and select “Hide” in the top right corner to remove it from view.

When you’ve got the photo, exit Photo Mode and talk to Polly again to hand the photo over and compꦛlete “Friendship is Bub♏bling”. For doing this, you’ll receive the following rewards:

  • 40 Diamonds
  • 30,000 Bling
  • 150 Shiny Bubbles
  • 1.0kg Pink Ribbon Eel
