Destiny 2: The Final Shape Temptation mission guide

You can start the Temptation mission by selecting the Refuge of Speakers Landing Zone in The Pale Heart. It’ll be to the left of the map, next to the waypoint of The Final Shape quest.

Eventually, you’ll unlock the starting point of the Temptation quest in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. To help you with this storyline, we’ll break down each step.

Step 1: Search for Crow and clear the area

Upon start, players must drop down to a lower level of The Pale Hea🌊rt map. Use the platform and initiate a jump just before t🏅ouching the ground.

Once you reach the next area, several enemie💮s will be gunning for you. This 🤪includes a Tormentor boss fight, requiring the Transcend ability for a takedown. Look to the right of the initial area to spot a Prismatic Flare for the Transcendence.

Wait for the Transcend to load up and quickly deal damage to the Tormentor boss while it’s charged. You’ll also need to watch out for its damaging wave-like attacks that have a pretty good targeting system. Use the surrounding terrain to block off this strike, or dodge it with a high jump.

Step 2: Deactivate the Conduits

As you progress, you’ll encounter a blocked-off cave, presenting you with three puzzles. Your task is to deactivate three Conduits by skillfully positioning them toward the beam of light. This feat requires the Psionic Insight, an ability that can only be obtained from Insight Psions eliminations.

Check out our guide on all Temptation Conduit puzzle solutions in Destiny 2: The Final Shape for a complete overview.

Step 3: Defeat the Pillar of Denial

Prepare for another intense boss fight as you return to the cave. This time, you’ll face off against the Pillar of Denial. It’ll cast two dome-shaped shields, posing a threat to you within its radius. Step inside it and aim for the center orb to eradicate the shield.

You must also be wary of the Pillar of Denial’s kick that blasts you into oblivion. Don’t make the same mistakes I did; try to stay away from cliffs to avoid falling off. I would also suggest not getting too close to the enemy to keep this from happening.

Step 4: Continue to search for Crow

Head inside the cave to shoot an orb entangled in a vine-like structure. This will result in an all-out battle, including the boss, Enlightened Omen. Like the previous showdowns, use Transcendence with the nearby Prismatic Flare at the bottom. Then, collect the Prismatic Reward after the boss’ takedown.

You’ll need to continue your search for Crow at this point. The game will provide waypoints as a guide, so it’s pretty straightforward. However, there’s one point where you may get lost and reach a supposed dead end with red faces. For this, climb up the terrain gradually with a few jumps.

Keep following the waypoint to progress further in Destiny 2: The Final Shape Temptation quest. A few cutscenes will transpire during your ♈time here, concluding the mission at the eꦕnd of the pathway. You can go to the next quest from here after picking up a weapon from Ghost and tuning into the radio.
