While most of your furniture Echoes yield very little combat potential, there are a few objects capable of fending off monsters with ease. The Flying Tile is a special piece of furniture known for attacking anyone who gets too close and there’s a Gerudo who’s desperate to see one. Here’s how to complete The Flying Tile quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
The Flying Tile quest location
In the southwest corner of the map is Gerudo Desert where Gerudo Town is located. East of Gerudo Town you’ll find an Oasis. Talk with the Gerudo near the giant purple tent to begin The Flying Tile quest.
The Flying Tile quest guide
Flying Tiles are difficult to find since they don’t appear anywhere among the sands in Gerudo Desert. These objects are only found in indoor areas like the Gerudo Sanctum.
You’ll gain access to the Gerudo Sanctum through A Rift in the Gerudo Desert main quest. A Gerudo named Dohna will assist you in getting entry to the sanctum, where you can find a room on the west side containing multiple Flying Tiles.
You can also find Flying Tiles in a cave in the northwest corner of Gerudo Desert. You’ll know you’re going the right way when the floor changes to brownstone. This area is also packed with Boarblins and Aruroda.
Continue past the first group of Boarblins and stop at the stick fence near the second group of Boarblins. Climb up the rock walls near the fence with the Trampoline Echo. Climb up until you can’t get any higher and head north. Eventually, you’ll find a cave that is full of Flying Tiles.
After locking onto a target, a Flying Tile will shoot off in the target’s direction and shatter on impact. To obtain the Flying Tile Echo, you have to run up to the tile and press ZR before the object destroys itself. You can keep a tile from flying away by binding to it with X.
Summon a Flying Tile in front of the Gerudo near the Oasis and she’ll reward you with 50 Rupees.
