Even though it’s an early chapter, Sparking Zero’s Saiyan Arc presents one of the most thrilling challenges. You’ll be on the edge of your seat as you face Vegeta’s most formidable form yet. Here’s how to defeat the Great Ape Vegeta in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.
How to beat Great Ape Vegeta in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
The Vegeta’s Secret Manuever quest opens with a special attack from the Great Ape, forcing you to either dodge or block the strike. He’ll do this several times throughout the battle, so try to get used to this overwhelming strike. If you’re too close to Vegeta’s attacks, use your blocks as much as possible. The damage won’t be as bad through this method, and it works better than dodging (his targeting system’s pretty OP).
To defeat Great Ape Vegeta in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, you must charge your Ki and earn a Skill Count to trigger Sparking mode. This form is your best chance of survival, enhancing your abilities and negating the cost of Ki. However, it’s not easy to charge up amidst the chaos. You can fix this by either sending Vegeta flying with combos or using the rocky terrain as a shield. Furthermore, you can gradually earn the Skill Count point (the number near the character icon) throughout the match. Keep track of the progress bar and wait for it to load up.
If you waꦦnt to unleash some🐷 combos, you must get up close and personal. Use Instant Transmission here to teleport yourself to a different position. That way, you can catch Vegeta off guard to land a strike and hopefully send him down to the ground.
No matter what, don’t position yourself right in front of Vegeta with close-range attacks. He tends to grab you a lot when there, so I recommend trying another angle.
Whether the Great Ape is down or you’re using the terrain as cover, it’s the prime time to charge your Ki. Keep your distance from him, and you should have enough time to fill up its gauge for Sparking mode. While in this state, use Solar Flare and unleash a Kamehameha shortly after. The two together inflict a lot of damage on Vegeta, stunning him in the process. However, I will suggest avoiding using Solar Flare alone since it doesn’t do much without the Kamehameha.
Overall, you should spam Kamehameha frequently to deplete Vegeta’s health. What worked for me was sending him down the ground in Sparking mode, then unleashing Kamehameha when he’s on his way back. In return, he’ll be brought down again, allowing you to charge your Ki once more.
Use all these techniques to defeat Great Ape Vegeta in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. You’ll earn rewards like Player EXP, which will help you improve your character’s stats, and Zenni, the in-game currency. Use the Zenni in the shop to collect characters, ability items, outfits, and many more.
