How to find Ricardo in Infinity Nikki
Ricardo appears directly south of the Mayor’s Residence in Florawish, looking toward the water. However, he only spawns at night, from 22:00 until sunrise. If you try to search for him during the day, you either won’t find him at all, or he’ll stand there but have no dialogue options for beginning the duel. You’ll have to pass the time using Run, Pear-Pal to change your in-game time to night.
As you approach the water south of the Mayor’s Residence, you’ll find a man wearing a black suit and sunglasses. This is Ricardo, and he’s ready for the Stylist Duel of a lifetime.
How to beat Ricardo in Infinity Nikki
Ricardo’s Stylist Duel theme is Center of Attention, with a focus on Simple and Cool outfits. The best early-game outfit for this is Rippling Serenity, which you obtain after unlocking fishing durinꩵg the main story questline.
Alternatively, you can use sets you unlock later in the game, like Shark Mirage. As long as Cool and Simple are their main 💯two tags, your odds of getting a decent score are high.
However, even with Rippling Serenity equipped, you won’t get a perfect score right away. At most, you’ll get a passing score, if that. Using accessories with high Cool ratings will give you the extra bump you need to pass that mark and defeat Ricardo. You can also use Glow Up to upgrade your sets, as we’ll talk more about soon.
How to get a Perfect score against Ricardo
Since Ricardo is Ebony Scissors’ faction boss, getting a perfect score against him will take more than putting on a random outfit. Instead, you’ll need to take a set like Rippling Serenity and upgrade its parts through the Glow Up menu.
Upgrading your outfits in their first few levels requires Bling, Thread of Purity, and Shiny Bubbles. You’ll gain these as you complete quests, defeat Esselings, and unlock achievements throughout your playthrough, making them relatively easy to stockpile.
For Ricardo’s fight, I upgraded every piece of Rippling Serenity to level three, allowing me to fly through the scoring tiers. Bringing each piece from level zero to three brought my overall score from around 9,000 to over 17,000, nearly doubling my results. If you’re a higher Mira level, you can even increase it to level four or five to make winning the fight even easier, but level three is all you need for a perfect score in this particular duel.
