A few sandwiches are all you need for a successful chef career.

The first cooking recipe you’ll unlock in Brighter Shores is a classic bacon sandwich. Although it’s fairly simple, the game doesn’t go in-depth on where you can find its two titular ingredients. Here’s exactly where you can find bacon and bread so you can become a professional chef in no time.

Where to buy Bacon and Bread in Brighter Shores

Rather than farming or creating your own bacon and bread, you’ll need to head outside the Delectable Dab Restaurant and talk to Kevin. He runs a food stall and sells cooking ingredients, including bread and bacon, which he š“†sells for 200 copper each.

Once you speak with Kevin, you’ll open his shop and find bread and bacon available. There’s no limit to how many you can buy outside of your current funds and inventory space. They also don’t increase with price with the more you buy, so you’re free to stockpile a bunch if you wish to cook for a while.

As you raise your cooking level, you’ll unlock more ingredients to purchase from Kevin’s shop. You can wait until you reach certain Chef profession milestones to find out what’s next or click the Future Items checkbox to see everything, including their level requirements.

How to use Bacon and Bread in Brighter Shores

Once you buy some bacon and bread, you’re ready to make your sandwich. Head back into the Delectable Dab Restaurant’s kitchen and use the frying pan to cook up your bacon. You’ll then need to assemble everything on a preparation table to finish the dish, giving you some cooking EXP points.

As a bonus, one bacon sandwich dish sells for 560 copper when you give it to the Head Chef. Since you need 400 copper to buy a batch of bacon and bread, that’s a 160 coin profit from one dish. Multiple this by a few inventories, and you’ve got yourself a lucrative catering business. You can also hand them into the Chef Bounty Board once you reach level nine, allowing you to get a small EXP boost along the way.
