You’ll need to take on the Dragon’s Lair side quest to find the Dragon Bones. This guide will help you through the entire process to find the beast’s remains.

How to obtain the Dragon Bones in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The first step is to begin the Dragon’s Lair Quest by speaking with Monk Slava. Slava can be found in Bylany, and you’ll be tasked with delivering a message to a church located outside Kuttenberg. As you are about to head out, Gerhard will make you a unique offer: find him the Dragon Bones.

To find the location, you’ll have to talk to Vashek, who will give you directions to the bones. To get to the location, you’ll either need to pass a skill check or spend 200 Groschen. Make sure to bring a spade as well to dig up the remains.

Take the southwest path from Bylany, and you’ll reach the Woodcutter’s Camp. You’ll find a stream that heads the west. Follow it, and you’ll reach the digging spot. Once you’re at the location, take the remains by digging it up with your spade.

Once you obtain the remains, Leopold will confront you. You have two choices: hand over the bones or intimidate him. If you don’t choose to do either, his guards will attack you (it shouldn’t be a problem to deal with them). Once you have successfully managed the attack, you can choose to give the bones to Gerhard, who will reward you with 275 Goschen. As an alternative, you can return to Bylany and hand over the remains to Slava.

Ultimately, the decision will be about what you need to do: get money or side with the monks. Thankfully, it’s a side quest, and your decision won’t have any major fallout in the grand scheme of things.
