In the farming / island restoration sim Coral Island, the🍌re’s an impressive amount to do with your free time, from fishing to tending your farm to diving and exploring a mysterious dungeon. If you’re anything like me, you might hold off on exploring the dungeon because of everything else the game has to offer.
But, when you’re ready to kick some monster butt, the dungeon — henceforth referred to as the Cavern — will be waiting for you. Located to the far northwest of the map, the Cavern is home to four mines: the Earth Mine, the🐽 Water Mine, the Wind Mine, and the Fire Mine. But, at the beginning, you’ll be limited to only exploring the Earth Mine. So, let’s discuss all you need to know about the Earth Mine.
How to Find the Earth Mine in Coral Island
Immediately upon entering the Cavern, you’ll be stopped by Kira, one of the i🐼slanders. Kira will explain that, at the moment, only the Earth Mine is accessible, and even then, the elevator will only go to the first floor. It’s up to you to clear the way to the 40th floor. It’s not as bad as you think.
Each floor manifests as a room with a random assortment of stones (and some monsters). The only means by which you can move forward is by breaking the right stone, revealing a hole in the floor you can jump down. If you’ve played Coral Island for any amount of time, however, you’ll know this is where things get tedious. Because breaking stones expends stamina, you’re going to need to go home every so often — that is, unless you have𒁃 an incredible supply of stamina restoration items🐭.
Thankfully, every 5 floors is a checkpoint and elevator that’ll take you back to the surface. There’s also an exit on every floor, though departing from a level that isn’ܫt divisible by 5 will result in the repeating of any progress made next time you return to the Cavern. If you can make it to an Earth Mine level divisible by 10 (10, 20, 30, 40), you’ll be awarde💦d with fabulous prizes, including:
- Level 10: The Ring of Speed, a ring that lets you use tools much faster than otherwise.
- Level 20: A Gold-Encrusted Hammer, which has a doubled attack power compared with your starting sword.
- Level 30: 12x Spikes, a form of trap.
- Level 40: 4x Jamu, a kind of medicinal drink.
It’s worth noting other mines have different prizes when you reach these milestones. Also, the Earth Mine is the best means of obtaining a steady supply of Bronze Ore for use in upgrades and crafting.
