How to fix error code 112 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone

Server issues are nothing new in MW3 or Warzone.

One of the most annoying things ever is when you finally get some time away from work, school, and other responsibilities to relax and play some Call of Duty, only to find an error code is in your way. Such is the case with the relatively common Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone error code 112, which ca🦩n ruin a great multiplayerꦉ session.

In general, the MW3 and Warzone error code 112 pops up when you boot up one of these games and try to connect to the online𝄹 servers. There is occasionally the possibility you might get this error code after a m🧸atch when you return to the lobby, but that isn’t as common.

When you get this er🅺ror code, it is generally accompanied by a message like the following:

  • Unable to connect online due to network connectivity issues.

The message itself makes it clear that there is something wrong with your ability to connect to Activision’s online servers, but it d🐟oesn’t quite s꧙pecify what’s causing it. There are a couple of possible explanations for this, the first being that it’s on your end.

There could be an issue with your internet, PC, or console that is pre✱venting you from connecting properly online. On the other hand, though, it could be an issue with Activision’s own servers that aren’t working properly at that ti☂me.

Regardless, this error code essentially means that you aren’t able to play online in either Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone.

If you run into the unfortunate error code 112 in MW3 and Warzone, there are only a few different methods you ca𒐪n try to help with it. First and foremost, it is essential that you narrow down what the problem is here. Is it an issue on your end or Activ𒆙ision’s?

To do that, I always suggest restarting your PC or console and also the game. While you do that, it is best to check out and the official CoD Updates  to see if there is an officia๊🐭l announcement about an issue or other players struggle to connect online.

If you still aren’t able to connect online, it might be worth rest🏅arting your internet and then testing other online games on the same platform to see if they work. If everything checks out there, it is likely  an issue on Activision’s end.

In this case, your best bet is to take a screenshot of the error, give a detailed description of how your internet works for other games, and submit a ticket to . It’s possible that server hiccups or even unexpected maintenance could be the problem.

If the issue is out of your hands, unfortunately, you’ll have to wait to get back online. Your best bet then is to play some Modern Warfare 3 off🍨line or check out another game in the meantime.
