How to get and use Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld

Just be careful of the spores...

Mysterious Mushrooms are a new resource added to Palworld as part of the Sakurajima update, and if you want to use a certain Pal as a moun🥀t, you’ll need to gather them. However, it’s not immediately clear ဣwhere they come from.

You’ll need 20 Mysterious Mushrooms if you want to craft a Shroomer Noct Saddle, allowing you to mount up on S๊hroomer Noct and ride the derpy, majestic mushroom-hat Pal into battle. 

How to get Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld

Unfortunately, the old adage “you can’t make an omelette without cracking eggs” rings true with this resource, because the only way to gather Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld is by killing (or capturing, if you’re feeling bene💧volent) some Shroomer Noct. 

Thankfully, this nocturnal cousin of Shroomer is pretty easy to find. Once you’ve found Shroomer in its natural Mushroom Wetlands🐬 habitat, you’ll just hav🐻e to wait until night-time for its purple tinted kin to emerge. 

If you’re lucky, you might also find Mysterious Mushrooms in Junk Piles occasionally.ꦬ If you’re hoping to gather your Mushrooms this way, you’ll need to head to higher level areas such as the Astral Mountains or the new island of🌸 Sakurajima, as these Junk Piles offer higher level items as rewards.
