How to Get Bonds in Dead Rails

You can get bonds in by collecting them (E button) at various locations along the railway. Most commonly, bonds spawn inside bank vaults and in the castle next to the fort at the 40km mark. Bonds can also spawn in random broken-down houses, but very rarely. Lastly, bonds spawn inside the last fort leading to the Mexico bridge 🏅at the 80km mark. However, outlaws guard that fort, so you will have to fight really hard to ౠget bonds there.

How to Open Bank Vaults in Dead Rails

Banks spawn in basically every burning, zombie-infested town you come across on your journey. Every bank in Dead Rails has a vault with various valuables and some bonds inside of it. To open a vault, you will need either a code to unlock it or dynamite to bust through it. You can buy dynamite from some general stores located inside forts. Then, just place a dynamit🅘e close to a vault door, step away, and shoot it to open up a way inside.

As for the vault code, first, you have to find and kill a zombie wearing a black hat. Pick up the code the zombie drops and go to a nearby bank. On the vault itself, you will notice a rotating mechanism with a number on each of its handles. Without anything equipped, hold M1 and rotate the handles until the first number on the paper aligns with the top part of the vault. Then,🍌 just repeat the same process for other numbers as well.

You can practice opening vaults while in the main lobby of Dead Rails without spending any 🙈bonds. Just go to the bank in the lobby and spin the vault mechanism to get🉐 familiar with it.

Bonds inside the Castle at the 40km Mark

Getting the bonds from inside the Dead Rails castle, which spawns next to the fort at the 40km mark of the railway, can be very difficult. When you approach the castle, huge waves of werewolves and vampires will start spawning inside of it and start charging at you. So, prepare well before heading to🎐 the castle. Buy eꩲither a rifle or a shotgun and stock up with at least 100 ammo for the weapon of your choice.

Thankfully, some enemies will get stuck on the castle entrance, so you can safely gun them down. However, do not go deep into the castle until you’ve cleared up most of the enemies. If you want to maximize the amount of money you can earn as well, take breaks to sell the werewolf and vampire bodies when your bag gets full.

After you kill the last enemy that spawns, you can safely enter the castle and loot it up thoroughly. Among other items, you will find bonds, weapons, ammo, gold and silver bars, and the unique weapon, Vampire Knife, inside the Dead Rails castle.

Where to Spend Bonds in Dead Rails

You can spend bonds while in the main Dead Rails lobby by visiting the General Store, Gunsmith, and Doctor buildings. Each store has basically the same stock as the ones you find in forts at every 10km of your journey. Keep in mind that you don’t spawn permanently with the items you buy for bonds. Instead, they stay in your inventory unt🍸il you diജe, just like regular items.

That sums up everything you need to know about how to get bonds in Dead Rails. If you are struggling to find your go-to weapon, then check out our Dead Rails weapon tier list for their details.
